Hello this is my first time ever writing something like this so constructive criticism is appreciated. As you know, Blade is yet to be a playable character and there is almost no information on him on wiki. This is my own version of Blade, but I did try to make him as accurate as what has been known about him so far. Enjoy. You are a prolific guard who has been nominated to watch over the most wanted and dangerous criminals in Xianzhou Luofu. You are not a person who would usually resort to violence to achieve peace, but you weren't fully a pacifist either. Oddly enough, fighting was always an exhilarating sensation for you, like you were born to do this. Every time your knuckles punched an opponent right square in the jaw or your legs made quick side-steps to dodge a deadly blade, you thrived in the moment, and no one could match your ambition. And that is how you led yourself to be one of the best and youngest guards in the security division. Today you were tasked with watching over a notorious Stellaron Hunter, Blade, since he got imprisoned yesterday. You held no positive opinions on that maniac, as he had been a threat to Luofu in the past. But you did ponder... What reason did he have to come back to this planet? Once you slowly approached a guard to switch shifts and start your job to look over Blade's prison cell, within a few minutes you noticed something was off. Your senses are conditioned to not be swayed by the intensity of a prisoner's aura, especially when you have been a guard in this infamous prison for 2 years now. But this was different; you felt shivers run down your spine and legs. You looked over towards Blade and met his gaze. It was penetrating; he watched you like prey. He would sit awfully still in a meditating position right in the centre of his cell and stare at every move and shift you would make. He continued to do so for a few more minutes, as if, by chance, you decide to leave, he would hunt you down within a nick of time. And then he smiled menacingly. "I hope you didn't miss me too much sweetheart. It has been a while, hasn't it?" You knew better than to respond to a prisoner, but confusion overtook you as whatever the man tried to imply was personal and somehow familiar. "I believe you have mistaken me for the wrong person." You stated to hopefully end the conversation before it could start, but it did just the opposite as his face stiffened. "Don't play games now sweetheart, we both know well that I don't take pranks well." "I am not one to pull pranks during duty either." Before you could blink, the maniac rushed towards you but was blocked by the prison bars. His expression was completely changed, he still looked cocky and confident, but you could see the slight quivering in his expression that he tried to hide. "You really don't remember me?" He spoke in disbelief, this time completely focused on your answer. You briefly paused at the sudden turn of events. Just what the hell is happening? "I believe if we really did meet before, I wouldn't have let you live after our encounter. Do you understand?" I challenged him to finally shut his mouth. You had enough of this prisoner's dramatic play. He laughed slightly until it became hysterical. "You seem like a completely different person, but the part of you that I fell in obsession with is still unscathed. To think that every waking minute instead of sleep I was longing for you, and yet here you are, a guard protecting my nemesis planet. Our fate is playing too many tricks on us." He paused. "I will not let fate separate us ever again, little devil." Just when he uttered that nickname, something flashed in your mind. A huge headache took its toll on you, nullifying any noise as you clutched your head in urgency to not show your vulnerable form. But Blade fully enjoyed your moments of suffering. And general Jing Yuan was the examiner you needed to impress. Tracking down the wanted Stellaron Hunters had been your first assignment. After so many long days and sleepless nights scouring records and security footage, you finally had a substantial lead. Near the northern perimeter of the Luofu, civilians had reported seeing strange lights and hearing some noises coming from a supposedly abandoned warehouse. On top of that, several people had been found dead in this area only a few days after the civilians reports. It couldn’t be a coincidence. This had to be where they were hiding out. So that was what brought you here now. Standing outside of this dusty old boot factory with as many soldiers as you could muster up alongside you. The glass gave out with a shatter as you broke down the door. Despite the small exterior, the warehouse was actually quite spacious. Too spacious. Where were those Stellaron Hunters? You treaded forwards into the darkness carefully. You couldn’t shake the feeling you were being watched. You flinched at the sudden crackle of your communicative device. “For Lan’s sake! What?!” You hissed. “S-sorry captain.” A young woman’s voice shook on the other end. You felt a pang of guilt for snapping at her. Those sleepless nights must be catching up on you. “Sorry..” you mumbled. “What did you want to tell me?” “Kafka escaped. We should retreat, the mission failed.” “What about the other one?” You glanced around the room, feeling uneasy. “Other one?” “Blade. Tall, long dark hair, bright red eyes?” “There’s no one we’re found yet who matches that description.” Her squeaky voice wasn’t easing your nerves. “Keep looking then.” You silenced your device. You weren’t alone. You could feel it. “Show yourself!” You held out your spear, trying your best to disguise the quiver of fear in your voice. Suddenly, something landed in front of you. It had fluttered to the ground, almost as if it weighed nothing at all. It’s eerie crimson hue glowed in the moonlight. A red spider lily. Hesitantly, you shifted your gave above you. A pair of glowing red eyes met yours from the darkness overhead.
Crash of steel resonated through a dying battlefield. Shouts have long since been drown out by the intensity of the duel. A lonely laugh pierced the air as a figure closed in on the opponent. An edge of a blade skimmed a bared throat. Hungry steel that stole breaths chased crimson droplets. They flowed into rivulets, spreading over a stretched clean canvas. The painting which he had begun was snatched away with a sneer. Hardened glare pierced him as he gave chase once again. Two bracers shone in the night as they met in a neverending battle.
A little POV after a long time of not having written a single thing except reports for work in my native language, so i am sorry for any mistakes (also i am out of practice writing povs) Part 2 is in the comments -------------------- I stared up at the black-haired man and he stared back. I was holding one of my arrows against his throat while he held his blade against mine. If this were a different situation, I would have found this hilarious and also very i don´t know sexy? But he was wasting my time. The goddamn guards had found me just 10 minutes in a bar and had started a wild goose chase, which I had started to win till I ran into him. “Since when are arrows used in such a way?”, the deep voice of the man rang in my ears and were such a blessing. He had this perfect voice and don´t get me started on the fierce eyes. They looked at me coldly, but the vibrant colors burnt themselves in my mind. It was intimidating in so many ways that I couldn´t look at him any longer and just looked with a side eye at the sword at my throat. However, my eyes didn´t rest too long on the sword because I flinched the second as I heard a commotion from where I had come from. The man probably noticed this but didn´t react, but seemingly waited for me to answer. But I had other plans than answering questions. I let my arrow fall to the ground while slipping down to the ground myself. From there I grabbed it again and scrambled to my feet while running in a different direction. I only vaguely noticed how the dark-haired man swung his sword towards where my neck was before I disappeared behind the next corner. From there on out I jumped over fences, boxes, people and stairs. I ran as if my life depended on it. My lungs were burning, and oxygen was a rare resource. None the less, my legs carried me without failing till I saw a semi empty minecart. I jumped in and threw the stones onto myself to cover up. Not long after I heard the Silvermane guards racing past the cart not even bothering to check it. They shouted something but I couldn´t understand a single word. I then waited for about 5 minutes before shoving the rocks off me and sitting up in the cart. Not even a second later, my neck once again got acquainted with a sword. A second glance told me it was the same sword. “How did u find me?”, was all I could mumble. This time it was the dark-haired man's turn not to answer the question. Instead, he asked me another question. “Why were the guards after you?” “None of your business.”, I said my hands shaking. My response was countered with a sharp pain on my throat. I didn´t need a mirror to see what he had done. He had cut me. “I won´t ask again.” It was as if his voice sunk an octave. I could feel his breath on my neck which made me realize how close he was standing next to me. Escaping him would be as difficult as it could be. Headbutting him would only end with my head cut off. Trying to stab him also end with me dying. I could only escape by using the cart. However, this was one heavy thing and wouldn´t budge. “My work clashed with theirs.”, I sighed. I was in a hopeless situation. Now I would be chased by the Silvermane guards and my employers. They will have my head for having revealed their secrets to a mere man. “Who do you work for?”, the man grabbed my chin and turned my head sideways. He slipped to the side, and I was once again face to face with the man. “Uhhhh, how do I say that? I only have a stamp from my employer.”, if chuckled embarrassed. If I were a cartoon character, I would have sweat dropped by now. “Show it.”, he said harshly. “It is in my pocket.” “Show it.” I sighed and slowly reached into my pocket. There I had the piece of paper with the order and the stamp. I watched the man while pulling the paper out, but he looked at me with a stone-cold face. Not a single thing changed when he saw how I pulled out a piece of paper nor did it change when it was in his hand. He then opened the folded paper to look at the stamp, a smirk appeared. And did I mention that the man was attractive? Well, this man just got so much more attractive with this one smirk. I am not sure if I blushed or was drooling, but his smirk grew even more looking at me. With that, he let go of my chin and said with a laugh: “So u are the little shadow Silver Wolf hired. Nice to meet my little partner in crime.” My only response was staring. I was still mesmerized by his handsome features and perplexed by what he said. Partner in crime? What? He reached into his pocket and pulled out also a piece of paper with the exact stamp I had from my employer. When I still didn´t say anything, the dark-haired man removed his sword and gave my paper back. Then he turned his back to me and started to walk off. “You might want to leave. The guards will come back soon.” With that I finally found my ability talk and process information. I got out of the cart and shouted after the man: “Who are u?” He just turned his head, his smirk still present: “They call me Blade.”
