What's the average swim distance between the bridges? Thanks.
It's about 6.2 miles. There is a strong current in your favor the whole time, though, so it usually feels like about half that distance. Still a long swim, but not as long as it seems!

I'd never swim in the bay: great whites, bull sharks. No way.
To each their own, but we've held well over 500 swims and there has not been a single shark encounter. They are extremely rare.
And if you ever change your mind, we'll be here for you!

There is quite a range over the course of the swim, but all upper 50s and low 60s°F.
