    Hi guys what type of bus do you guys have exactly please

  • @JosephMyLife
    @JosephMyLife 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Is it really worth gutting and replacing the floors etc? adding all the extra weight, the costs and efforts? I'm planning to travel in my bus, but not live full time there.

    • @growingslowandwild
      @growingslowandwild  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess it depends on how long you plan on travelling at a time, and what kind of climates you will be in. If you plan on being in heat or cold, having insulation definitely helps. And as far as the floor, it's always a good idea to get down to the subfloor to at least see what you're working with down there because a lot of subfloor wood will have bad mold which can come in to affect you later on. What kind of travel do you plan on doing?

      @@growingslowandwild I think I'll follow the good weather as much as possible. but I'm sure it won't always be that way. Is the bus hard to drive in the snow?

    • @growingslowandwild
      @growingslowandwild  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We have only had to drive in snow once or twice but it's definitely not the easiest. Luckily there wasn't too much on the ground, but it seems hard to control that much weight from sliding.
      But as far as the insulation, if you're going to skip on the walls and floor, the ceiling is probably worth doing. The roof transmits a lot of the temperature. We used the cotton candy style of insulation so it's pretty light and didn't change the inside height of the bus at all because we just put it in between the ribs of the bus
