I think the most beautiful one I've seen so far is one in my country in Sinaia. The view from the mountain from the 2000 meters altitude. Especially now during the Autumn. The colours were spectacular. Like ones took out of a painting. 😃
you're welcome! You have a great channel :) We are just planning a monthly trip around China and yesterday I watched all your videos ;) A lot of useful information :) Nice work with this retro inserts like a old VHS style :) I see 100k of sub in a moment for you ;)
Every time I see footage in Xingping and Yangshuo I am overwhlemed! Spent a bunch of time in northern China and Tibet...got to make my way here. Always a great tale, super entertaining, great video quality, and amazing! Way to give er dudes!
Definetly, Pingyao was very cool...take a sleeper train from Beijing...and for a large city Beijing had a ton going on...parks, great wall, forbidden city etc. All of Tibet...if you can, cross Tibet into Nepal...check out N. Face of Everest, and then do a bunch of hikes in Nepal...Like the Annapurna Circuit...and the Gokyo loop...can't go wrong...so beautiful.
Damn during this China series you've had some serious hikes to get the perfect shots. I appreciate the effort you go through to get these unreal visuals. Sucks about the weather. This series is very informative and always has a story in it as well. Love it man.
All your China travel guide is really great. We never heard so much about these beautiful places of China, most of the time it is about the big cities, Thanks for sharing !
Those views though are so awesome! Never knew what was on the back of 20yuan, interesting fun fact. That hike must've been quite an adventure. The view from the top of the river, amazing.
Yay! a new video! Love the shot of the money panning to the actual mountain! I like that part of town with hanging umbrellas! We just went to a city in SoCal that had something similar. The hike does seem difficult, especially in the rain! Yikes, that ladder! The view on the top is awesome tho!! woah, it goes up even further?!?! You guys climbed up?! Crazy!! but view is spectacular tho!!
All of the world is so beautiful. China has so much to see I am sure one need to be dedicated full time to explore it like you guys . Xingping is a place I never heard about until now , thanks for giving details on this ancient fishing village
This is amazingly shot and edited. The intro was very engaging as well as the music. Wandering away from the city noise is always good. The place seems so authentic and calm.
Was excited for another beautifully edited video. I am an avid hiker so this is speaking my language. That view from the top is just unreal. The river is a little muddy but those mountains with the greenier and the water is just incredible. Loved the shot of the money then looking up to see the scenary from the bill!
Wow! That view from the top of the hike was amazing! Seeing the river and with the different shaped mountains, no words can explain. When we visited China a couple years ago, we did not get to visit this place. What a bummer, would have loved to see that view in person. I guess will have to make another trip to china...LOL! Great work as always!
So so good Ryan, and very informative! Wish I knew about Xingping when I visited but now I'll keep it mind for next time! Really liking the music choices too ;)
Thank you mate, really appreciate it! I actually really struggled with this edit... The footage wasn't easy to work with and ended changing some of the music at the last minute (hence why this was a week late uploading)!
Wow this place looks absolutely amazing!! Great work capturing it, the way these mountains jut out of the water looks like New Zealand! I think our favorite view was either in Almafi Coast or Tahiti!
Thank you! The mountains are so surreal, I think they look like something from Avatar or Jurassic Park! Tahiti looks amazing, definitely need to get there :)
Great video!!! Amazing views and totally worth the view! I think our best view was when we crossed into Kyrgyzstan from China and the following morning we walked up the grassy hill to see a spectacular view. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome videos of mountainous China. I love the way you speak up for China. I hope you'll have time to visit Wudang mountains and meet some Daoist hermits and also make some forays into looking for herbs. Oh yes, there's a village in Guilin where people live to very old age. It'd be great if you have time to investigate that culture and lifestyle. Happy journeys and thanks for sharing.
@@OneShotAdventures, thanks to you to. The technician at Carphone warehouse told me Huawei's latest AI handphones has the best camera apps... you might want to look into this while you're in China. Hope this is helpful.
I hope we can visit one day! The views are just so incredible and even though it looks like a bit of a tough hike in the rain I'd definitely want to give it a try for that final view!
Ryan! You're B-Roll in the beginning is awesome and this epic view is just captivating, drawing you into the video for more! Glad that you made it save up the mountain despite the wet trail up there! The view was worth it, I'm sure! Thanks for sharing this part of your China adventure! Now we have to look up the other episode :-) Cheers, Doris & Matthias 🐻
Absolutely solid...again. Even the bad weather came out beautifully on this video. As a researcher by profession, I love how you started this with a question, rather than just walking around a city and showing interesting sights like other travelers do. Great job on creating intrigue and suspense in this one. I am actually thinking of using this video as an example for my college students when I teach effective storytelling.
Adventure Everywhere thanks Brian for the really lovely comment! This was a tough edit that took me way longer than usual, so glad to hear you liked it! Very flattered that you think it's a good example of storytelling too!
Mate, your videos are always a pleasure to watch. The editing is just so good. The view from the top of the mountain is just breathtaking - worth the climb! PS: seems like you guys had a few rainy days in China - good thing you guys always seem to turn it into a positive. Great job. c/t
Wow! I lived in China for two years but I never saw this area. It's even more beautiful than Zhangjajie! I love the historic streets and it looks almost like Ha Long Bay along the river! Thank you for sharing :) I feel like I need to go back and travel some more around China!
I love your videos so much. It's always well done with great footage and details. You also have a great voice. Did you ever do voiceover work? Climbing up that mountain looked brutal! Can't believe there's even a ladder. I don't think I could make it to the main viewpoint. I would definitely hurt myself... but the views are incredible!
I like the heartbeat sound, very effective! Thank you again for letting me include a sneak peek of this video in my Grand Tetons video. I am determined to go do this hike you showcase in your video. Did the 'more to explore' factor in Yangshuo win out for you & Emma over this amazing hike?
Thanks for featuring me on your channel! Yes, I think the many sights of Yangshuo made it a better destination to visit, but the view in Xingping alone is worth the trip out there :)
I'm living in Xingping for almost 3 years moving from another city here... for just one day, you may need best luck to see the beauty of xingping.. most people don't have the luck. it really depends on luck, when the sky show you beautiful face , when the clouds chasing in the river, i may find one word to describe it : paradise . and most people don't know, there are amazing sea of clouds in lao zai mountain, i'v seen it few times, i love this place more than yangsuo .
it happens when the previous day is raining, and following day is sunny, more chances are at autumn, especially when a big shower comes at night , and when you get up early morning see it's misty , well, take your time...... it's really amazing, 360 degree view of sea of clouds. blue sky, white tides of clouds, groups of mountains.

Yangshuo and xingping are both really beautifull places. Been there last year with my chinese wife. Hope you tried the beerfish. Its amazingly good. And the views are just breathtaking.
You are killing it at the moment, Ryan! Love your intro and all the sound effects you added. I noticed the heart beat as you climbed the mountain plus the glitch noises are so satisfying. I thought I wanted to go to Yangshuo when I saw your last video but NO, now I want to go to Xingping! Lol 1000 steps doesn't sound easy to me. Did you go in rainy season? Or is it normally rainy?
Ella in Wanderlust thanks Ella! Glad you liked it because I had a mare editing this one 😂 it's definitely worth doing Yangshuo and Xingping in the same trip. Yeah we pretty much went during rainy season, which is also crazy hot. But means it was a bit less crowded (doesn't count for much in China)
I climbed the same lao zai mountain. There were small centipedes crawling around on those rocks too. A Taiwanese photographer fell to his death from that mountain top. Also at the foot of the mountain, there are tombs here and there. If you decide to stay after 7pm before descending, you better have torch light! No lights at all on the way down.
amazing! Is Yang Shuo still better if one just hangs out enjoying the views? Does Xing Ping have better views to slowly absorb? Or is the diversity of views and things to do better in Yang Shuo?
Man! This is place looks like it is off the "gringo trail". How have you find it? We understand why the view is good and it's the shape of the rocks that creates this awesome view! Thanks for sharing!

@@OneShotAdventures oh it's not very noticeable (the garbage) a sample of sad destruction is Coron, Philippines. The water is so clean and the coral reef was very lively when I visited years ago...now garbage is everywhere and the corals are crushed
