I think the most beautiful one I've seen so far is one in my country in Sinaia. The view from the mountain from the 2000 meters altitude. Especially now during the Autumn. The colours were spectacular. Like ones took out of a painting. 😃

The hike does seem difficult, especially in the rain! Yikes, that ladder! The view on the top is awesome tho!! woah, it goes up even further?!?! You guys climbed up?! Crazy!! but view is spectacular tho!!

Definetly, Pingyao was very cool...take a sleeper train from Beijing...and for a large city Beijing had a ton going on...parks, great wall, forbidden city etc. All of Tibet...if you can, cross Tibet into Nepal...check out N. Face of Everest, and then do a bunch of hikes in Nepal...Like the Annapurna Circuit...and the Gokyo loop...can't go wrong...so beautiful.

Also at the foot of the mountain, there are tombs here and there. If you decide to stay after 7pm before descending, you better have torch light! No lights at all on the way down.

I'm on my way to Xing Ping cycling from Xishuangbanna Yunnan. 2400km so far. The karst mountains start in Qiubei Yunnan and carry on all the way to Yangshuo - and beyond for all I know. I have already past stupendous scenery which I don't think can be beaten by Yanshuo or Xing Ping. Most places are not remotely on the tourist radar. That view from Laozhai mountain though is stunning and worth a climb. The real China??? What would that be?? Impossible to encapsulate as it's so vast and diverse.

i'm surprised that I don't see much garbage and destruction of the mountains/hills
it's sad that in our country, beautiful destinations are now slowly polluted, owned privately and are destroyed to turn into commercialized area

There was a little bit of garbage at the pagoda at 3:13, but not too bad (I have definitely seen worse!). Unfortunately it's something that eventually happens everywhere in order to make money from tourists...

@@OneShotAdventures oh it's not very noticeable (the garbage) a sample of sad destruction is Coron, Philippines. The water is so clean and the coral reef was very lively when I visited years ago...now garbage is everywhere and the corals are crushed

That's very sad to hear... It sounds very similar to what happened at Maya Bay in Thailand - which is now closed permanently because of over tourism. Very sad!

Wow, I'm really loving the style of this video! It's easy to watch, and gets straight to the point with the relevant information. Yangshuo or Xingping were not on my list before watching this, but now I'm going to have to reconsider!
