Thanks for the suggestion of adding cloth to cover the air pressure sensor. I had been wondering how I was going to keep prop wash off it.

Clearly the difference of soldering quality is really noticeable!

Nice physical tour of the boards. Will you be following up with some sort of functionality comparison? Besides the physical quality differences. Does the clone run exactly the same as the real board? Or would the different options make that an apples/oranges sort of comparison?

+Handley Machine I've been running the clone for a while now and my one works fine. Generally clones either work or they don't and the chance that they don't is usually higher.

Thank you for the comparison, you should compare the filp32+ with the original. It is one of the more popular clones that sell for round about 20/25 usd.
BTW what macro light are you using? looks spacey

+gilgameshismist I don't have either of those, but will do if I get my hands on them. Home built out of a high power led and old computer heat sink. I built it for my other channel. biodiversityshorts

You can easily identify dongs/timecops legit boards, his silkscreen is always superb - the factory he uses for his PCBs uses a special silkscreen process which almost doesn't exist out of japan, where as components may vary from batch to batch slightly

+bgdwiepp Forgot that handle for him. I remember 'dong' as a character in a movie. Blazing saddles I think.
