Wish there was more Akula scenes in the movie. Maybe in the next one.
When I watched it in the theaters, I thought that the Akula was going to come in and attack the sub pods and crab bots
If hoped it would join the final battle like the Thanator did in the first movie
So the Nalutsa is the pandorian version of Megalodon and Aqula is basically their Dunkelosteus

One thing I see in the two movies is that humans do not use drones or AI robots to fight in the war. Kinda strange considering their technology.
To be honest im surprised that the humans dont just nuke the navi from orbit.

Likely because of the interference that is natural all over the planet, it severely hampers the range of radio transmissions.Also can you imagine what would happen if a AI drone was taken over by Eywa?
