    To our newcomers welcome, to the old crew welcome back.
    In regards to adjusting the headphones, there has been a glitch in the matrix.
    Decoupling the cups is via rotation, changing size is pulling like normal adjustment mechanisms.

    Great review, this video convinced me to get the VC's last year and I fell in love with them but my gear didn't feel like it did them justice(all my gear was warm since I struggle with treble but I find warm gear ends up being too much of a good thing when put with headphones tuned like these), so I saved up a bit and decided to take the plunge on the TT2, I must say they sound amazing together, the image separation and the tonality is insane especially with guitar strings, I've finally found my end game :)
    M-Scaler does elevate things a bit but not enough to justify the price tag for me.

    • @soulfulfool
      @soulfulfool หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@jimis3167 late reply 😅 so another year with my VC, they are very comfortable for me especially hybrid or suede pads (those are very nice in touch), sound really depend on gear and pads, leather pads and solid state amp (ZMF Homage in my case) makes them more accurate with crisp highs and tight bass, suede/hybrid pads with tube amp makes them more laid back with a bit warmer tonality and a bit bigger staging, for sure after few years I still cant believe how good closed backs I own 😅 I'm more of an open back fan but they for my ear are better than many 1000$ open backs, still I have to upgrade my old DAC to new R2R one that will be overall benefit to my amps and every headphone in my possession 👍

    Wonderful review, Koji. I have some questions I especially would love your answers to (hope it’s not too much to ask).
    Can these be driven fully efficiently by the Chord Mojo 2?
    And a bit longer question. My favorite music is quite complex, layered and at times very fast experimental electronic music, electroacoustic and acousmatic music, also with neoclassical elements, where there has been ambisonic microphones involved in the making of the music, preferred in a minimum of 24-bit and in binaural recordings. What would you recommend, these Verite Closed or the Meze Liric… or maybe a third headphone?
    Thank you for your great work!

    • @ConvinceMeAudio
      @ConvinceMeAudio  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      First and foremost thank you so much for the kind words, and it will be my pleasure.
      The Mojo drives the VC nicely,, but by no means is it to the fullest capability of these headphones. The majesty and staging and scope really upscales when we look at something like the tt2
      But I will not say the Mojo does an average job, it does a wonderful job.
      But I will be honest, if you own this headphone, I am sure you will be wanting to drive it to its fullest capability even if down the road.
      The poly ethylene naphthalate Driver consists of 20% beryllium, The driver is extremely quick and it’s superb for electronic music
      Imaging and layering is superb on these headphones I think out of the two you have mentioned I would still pick VC
      The shootout between all of these headphones is actually come in very shortly
      The closed backs

    The video editing needs some work, a lot of visual descriptions got lost and not shown. Bitwolf I know you are reading this, next time when Koji is showing something make sure the camera is on him. Overall I like you're editing style but when visual descriptions are lost it detracts a lot from the video.

    I am in a massive dilema, Verite closed or Hifiman HE1000V2, Both same price second hand , the Verite is used with few marks but in excellent working condition and the 1000V2 are brand new still wrapped. This is one of the most difficult decision I had to make so far as I dont have the chance to listen to neither of them... Please if you have an opinion I would appreciate if you could share it.

      I am kinda new to the audiophile world but let me tell you a story. Few steps back, my dad got me into this world even tho he is more into speakers, he owns Magico Q7 and amp / dacs for around 80k euros, even his cables cost more than my setup but thats not my point, he said to me that everything changes the sound , but i wont hear it, I need to learn to hear the details. I moved forward and purchased JDS atom and dac stack and HD660s and it was my first setup i was really happy, however after around 7-8 months I decided to upgrade to LCD-X 2021 ,and here is what I want to point, amp and dac, now I demoed Burson Conductor 3x Reference , Chord Qutest + Anni and Naim Unity, I will tell you that all these 3 setups sounded very different, the Naim was most musical with least details. The Burson was Warm detailed and spacious , yes you heard me right , soundstage was bigger and everything was in the right place. Chord on the other hand was over detailed and was just throwing all the information which I didnt like because i felt overwhelmed I was losing on some parts of the songs it was just thrown at me as a mess when the Burson was just everything was at place and gently presented. Chord had better punch on the hitting instruments by a large margin. Anyway I hope this gives you a better idea and also if anyone says cable doesnt make a difference don't believe it I purchased few cables to test and they all sound different, but like i said you have to learn to listen.

    • @ConvinceMeAudio
      @ConvinceMeAudio  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Cables do make a difference
      starting with IEMs then headphones then interconnects
      But it really does show up when you go higher up the chain and the more resolve in your system is
      Playing about with cables when you’re messing around in the lo-fi or mid fight category is a waste of money
      But when you have a $25,000 system on your desk, believe me when I tell you cable to make a difference LOL

    • @SamB-rk9qb
      @SamB-rk9qb 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ConvinceMeAudio Exactly, we were talking about cables with my dad and I found the courage to ask how much is the USB cable he was talking about he really wanted, he said something like 6k euros for cable... my jaw dropped. But he also said if you have system for 300k you then hear every detail possible and a simple usb cable will affect the quality of the sound and in some occasions the tonality. But anyway thats a different universe and I am far from it at this stage of my life I am happy on 150 quid cables, and thats expensive for me :D haha
