  • Pick up the Planet Eclipse GEO R5 right here - bit.ly/4b6NExt
    Planet Eclipse has created the ultimate in spool valve technology; the GEO R5. Building off of the robust IV Core that was found in the Geo 3 line, and the Geo 4, the Geo R5 updates this engine heavily. With the new GR drivetrain, the Geo R5 operates anywhere between 95-105psi, making it the lowest operating pressure in the Geo family.
    With this larger air volume chamber and longer prop shaft, the bolt cycle can be controlled more, and doesn't lose as much air during this cycle. These factors come together and create the smoothest, softest, quietest, and most consistent shot.
    Planet Eclipse was kind enough to send us one to test, and we found the perfect folks to test this badass paintball marker out. Sacramento Pink played with the Geo R5 over the period of a weekend and had nothing but great things to say about it. Hear what they have to say at the end of the video!

    Never worried about the flow restrictior going missing but not having to clean it cause it is hidden now is absolutely genius and welcomed change.

      YES! Planet Eclipse addressing all of these little issues that are uncommon, and fixing them with their new Geo is fantastic.

      Hell yes. It doesn’t sound like crap. Is a swooshy smooth airy shit instead of a pop pop crack sound.

      I think the comparison is like apples to oranges. The CS3 uses the OP Core and needs very little maintenance, but the GEO R5 uses the GR Drivetrain and has this insanely smooth and soft shot. Sure, the GR Drivetrain needs a little more care and love, but it's incredibly consistent.

      @@BFPGear If you're unaware, the OP is a Gamma and the GR is an IV. Thus, the old "Gamma vs IV" arguments all hold up here, as well.

      @@weroliera the cs3 sounds so good I have no idea where your getting this idea that the cs3 sounds like crap.

    wait, so these Geo5's have problems with the SpireV and CTRL2!?

    • @BFPGear
      @BFPGear  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Some of them do. We've been using this Geo R5 with the CTRL2 loader and have had zero issues.

    How smooth and quiet is it compared to DSR+ with IM prokit and FF bolt?

      I personally couldn't tell you, but Dufort says it's smoother and quieter than the GEO R5. - Sam

    What colorway is that, and is BFP going to offer color swaps?

    • @BFPGear
      @BFPGear  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This is the Retribution color way (Bronze / Sandstone) and we're figuring that out. It does depend on how readily available the markers are for part swaps since it does take two different markers to make one. Keep an eye on the site!

    What would be the best paintball marker right now for under 800$??

    • @BFPGear
      @BFPGear  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      In the current market, the Etha 3. If you save a little more cash, then I'd say the GTEK 180R.
