Thanks for checking out the video...if I remember correctly..I had the camera propped up using my coat(on the table) as a tripod. I am just a blues fan that likes to share the music that I enjoy. Sometimes a little shaky video is better then none at all. Thanks again for your comment ThePeterell.
Saw this show at a little beach bar in Sebastian , Fl sitting on the floor right in front of all three harp players blowing the roof off the place. Got to see three of my favorites all at the same time. Killer show!! " Hey Mark!! When you coming to Southern Calif. again??"
you have to love this music, the session on circuit, super, even if the camera bit of a wobble, it's live. thank you for post (I of 1960 in the GDR) sodafixer 2 !!!
Thanks sodafixer (& britbluesfan for share). Much for the harmonica lover to savor, & bits for the 'balanced blues lover',too.(amp harp ,P.A. harp, high register, rhythm harp, lead harp ,different 'position' harp, harp combos, harp harmony, harp heroes, synchronized harp, accompanied by fine vocals, guitar drums & bass. Thoroughly enjoyed a 'well spent hour'. Regards.
First I heard of Mark Hummel (ignorant englishman that I am) - best Jimmy Reed impersonator I've heard yet! - but blows his own marvliss stylee, too ...great first position work, eh!!
Thanks Mack...you have to realize not all clubs are tripod friendly. I did buy a monopod after I recorded this..it makes it much steadier..but not perfect. I do this as a hobby...just to share the music I love.
This is a treat. I only would like to know what ind of rigs the guys were playing thru. Charlie sounds like his latest: Sonny Jr. Avenger. Kim? Fender Bassman, if I had to guess. Mark's is fat, whatever it is.
17:30 - is Kim Wilson's band shooting junk? This is the draggiest of the draggy drags I've ever heard! Someone needs to shake the guitar man awake. Rusty dude! Oh, this is FUN! Kim is warbling his vocals like Butterfield - and he's hittin' that harp so hard he must be able to afford a dozen of them just to get through the tune. Squealing' mutha! The audience sounds absolutely sauced. Mark Hummel, you put together one good show, man.

How the hell did that first guy get on this bill with three harmonica legends? What a racket and ridiculous singing. 🤔
Sounds like he’s blowing through a fender frontman!! I played harp through one for a few years. 🤣
amazing how the mic and help make sound better than it is just saying
Yeah right on

This was recorded before I owned a mono pod..Thanks for the comment Mark.
all I'm saying is you can SEE Kim Wilson using the vocal mic - amplified yes, but thru the PA

At about 8:45 when Mark begins, can anybody tell me the name of his tune?
1st position letal war!! :D :D :D

And you know how??
I will be uploading new Charlie Musselwhite video real soon.....stay tuned!
強烈!😆
@jumpinghoodoo ...No, he's not. Charlie's playing 3rd position, which he often does. Master at it.
harp players! killer!
BLUES HARP PLAYERS HEAVEN - 44 minutes...
Kim Wilson plays thru the vocal mic, not the amped-up one

Where I can find more information about Stew James? Many thanks.
Stew James lives in Western Massachusetts.

charlie is in the wrong key at 36.00 .... lol
The music is pretty darn cool! I just don't watch the video if I don't like it. ~ harpdaddyone needs to lighten up.
Thanks for the upload!! Decent enough raw audio, horrid video (:
I love his harp hate his voice.Sorry Charlie and Kim both have pleasing voices. You can not beat the harp playing anywhere.
Missing Butterfield..
Is it just me or the first harmonica player is playing a solo nonsense intro?
TO MUCH FIRST POSITION!!!! lol jk
Stew James, STOP SINGING!!
