Great explanation sir . I have one doubt - the PIV of bridge type FWR is only Vm n not 2Vm , why? The voltage across reverse biased diode is Vm and also at the load resistor RL there is load voltage Vm so total would be 2Vm ....Why should we ignore the load voltage Vm
