Good lord. That opening bass line and I just smile and remember some very very sweet fun times in the summer of 78 in the big pool with the cute girl and oh yeah. oh yeah.
It was a long time ago, but it took a while to realize they were white guys. When I was growing up the only soul/blues was from the States and it was always black guys, and I used to hang out for it every Sunday at 5pm. And then Solid Gold.
I remember catching these guys on American Bandstand as I was getting ready to go get my haircut after Soul Train went off. I stopped in my tracks. I made sure I stopped by Scotty’s record shop and sure enough they had it. 7th grade was the bomb🎶
Great reaction brother 🤙🏾 Pablo Cruise was one of those smooth bands back in the day. This was a jam. And the lyrics was very cool. But, I was hopeless romantic😁... and their song “Cool Love” was amazing at our 8th grade school dance 😁🤙🏾 Stay safe!
New to your reviews Teez, and as of today you've got a new sub! It's been a year now since I began watching TH-cam reactors, occasionally leaving the request for Pablo Cruise, Love Will Find a Way, and not one has yet to spin this classic smooth vibe, yet today boom! These guys are/were still doing live performances, and in 1999, I just happened upon their summer pier concert on the Santa Cruz Boardwalk! Saw them for free w the Pacific ocean in the backdrop. Excellent musicians! Another great song w a positive life message, "Every Kinda People" by Robert Palmer. Has a similar musical vibe too ❤️
@@TeezMcGee "I upload a lot"... Yeah I've noticed! Lol Not to worry, this papa bear don't miss a thang! You're already showing up in my feed. Will send you some musical recommendations to check out. ☮️
This is dope! First time I've ever heard this song. I just learned the band name today when I heard another song of theirs "Whatcha Gonna Do?" Man, these boys are killer groovin!
Fun fact: Pablo Cruise isn’t a guy’s name - it’s the name of the band. And I love this song. “Whatcha Gonna Do” may be even better. I’ll have to get on your Patreon and recommend “This is It” by Kenny Loggins, another absolute yacht rock masterpiece.

This was a vibe back in 1978 and it's still a vibe today!!!
And this is why i'm an old school girl. Music back then had messages, meaning,, spoke to you and emotions weren't afraid to be expressed.

A Place in the Sun is a great tune Teez. By Pablo Cruise of course.
Hold on, just finding a playlist for this niceness to slot into. B)
Good to see white people vibing with a brother over music they grew up with. Aint got time to hate.
You need to do some Hall and Oates. Sarah Smile, She's Gone, One on One a just a few suggestions.
Sara smile is definitely otw :)
