@@Ja.KooLit I think that what you want is already out there. I actually care about large screens size. The Asus zenscreen (MB16AC) costs about the same and has a bit more functionality, but lacks touchscreen and you are getting something from a company with a worldwide network for service if needed. They also have an MB16AP version that includes a battery so you can use it without need of any external power even when using your phone for it (plus it also uses display link to increase the compatibility even more)

    • @twospirits411

@@Alexter6277 Bought the MB16AP and am returning it right now. Definitely not more functionality, the lack of touch really makes it worthless when using it with your phone, plus a lot of apps are restricted (on Huawei, haven't tries Samsung yet).
I'll definitely go for this one, or something else like it, if I can already find it in the market.

This is basically your mobile rig right here. Take a gimbal, wireless mic and and external batter and you have all the footage you need. Then sit down, whip out a monitor and roughly edit the video while you're taking a break from walking and shooting and you cam basically upload it on TH-cam, especially when you show up with pre-made templates and intros. Done. 🙂

  • @gregpchandyman7825

When you connected to your PC and lost touch screen on the Vinpok, that would be because it came up as a generic monitor on your computer. You need to find the right driver for it and then it WILL work OK. Also, rather than extend the screen, it is much better to have the laptop screen turn off when you have such a small monitor built in and such a better one externally.
One thing that would have made this monitor better is built in wi-fi. Just cast to it, then.

    • @Leonvolt28
      @Leonvolt28 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

I think HDMI only works for video. It should work if you have a USB c port in your pc. There might be a workaround so that you can plug it into a regular USB port for the touchscreen.

    1. You said you connected from PC using the hdmi cable thus loosing the touch capability. Why didn't you use the usb(a) to usb(c) cable...so that you don't lose it?
    2. I saw you accessing settings on a YT video and showing in options 2160p. How is that possible if screen can output only 1080p? (Maybe YT only detects phone's output and even if you'd have selected 2k you still get an actual 1080p in screen).
    3. I would like to use this in portrait mode with my laptop (i already it works) but...i don't have any usb(c) thus i will have to use the usb(a) to usb(c) cable or the hdmi(normal) to (mini) hdmi...but... this will require powering the screen from the left usb(c)....thus i will have cables on both sides of the screen. How would i go about it to use it. It would have to stand on one of the cables end!?
    4. Does the magnetic cover allow you to set the screen in portrait mode (will it hold it like that)?

I paid for the Vinpok Split screen in October and delivery was promised for December. It arrived in April, faulty and I reported it. For the next two months I did everything I was asked to do and then in June sent it back, as requested. It is now almost August and I have nothing apart from false promises of a solution or a replacement and being told to be patient.
    So who is being unreasonable?
The customer who paid for the screen and then complied with every request, sending videos of it connected to multiple computers and power sources using various cables, including a brand new one I purchase as requested?
    Or
The company that has obfuscated and failed to deliver having made numerous promises, none of which have been kept?
The customer who was promised a solution and a replacement but now has no screen, no replacement let alone a refund?
Or the company that has promised all those things but has failed to deliver on any of them, namely Vinpok?
