- Hey Guys! In this vlog I take you around an area of Tokyo called Asakusa. I spent a quiet day there trying on my first kimono, eating a bunch of traditional Japanese sweets and also praying at the famous Sensouji temple. It's also my first time shooting an entire vlog in Japanese so I was really nervous but I'm happy with how it turned out :) please enjoy!

Had fun watching you in full Japanese. Since I'm studying Japanese, it forces me to figure out what I hear and I recognize about 30-40% of the words now. 😁
Perth in English is とてもカッコイイ and Perth in Japanese is とても可愛い！
「おみくじ」は「お」と「み」はどちらも丁寧尊敬の接頭辞なので、「くじ」をとてもていねいに最大限の敬意を込めた名詞ですね。覚えにくいのに頑張っててすごい！
めちゃくちゃ丁寧な接頭辞「おみ」がつく他の言葉には「御御足（おみあし）」=足とか「御御櫛（おみぐし）」=髪の毛 などがあります。

I knew when Perth had that reaction to the Omikuji that it was either gonna be Daikichi or Daikyou (also you only got bad luck, my man, not worst luck!). I mean, given how the year went, I'd say the bad luck stayed behind 😜
