Always add 200-500ml mineral 2-Stroke before filling up a full tank of diesel. The diesel these days is different from what it was back when these engines were built. This is a good clean and better than any additive on long term, google redirected me to this knowledge.
@coolakiIlen007 the s stands for slope and the l stands for low. in slope, it goes up to 3rd gear, in low up to 2nd. Thanks for watching

what does S and L stand for on the gearbox? in europe we have 2nd and 3rd gear below Drive...

But starting in 1981 that was exactly what the 300TD had in the U.S.: the 300SD's turbo diesel engine.
