I thought everyone knows that the real lounge at Praha hl. n. is Fantova kavárna.
Seriously - good video, and the Business Class seat is amazing; I've booked it a couple of times when on ÖBB Railjet (same seat type).

I went by this train from Vienna because of delayed flight (Sorry not sorry, RegioJet have special place in my heart)
Seat in second class was comfy, I was sitting next to some older couple so we talk a lot, very nice ride to Prague
Unfortently, train I was in had AC on full of fullest volume possible, so I was freezing there
And as in ČD fashion, their railjet from Budapest broken down in Brno, so passangers from this train filled our then packed train and it wasnt not so pleasent from moment then

The AC and heating issues are.. certainly something, I remember going to Slovakia on a train, and the heating was stuck on full blast.. that was really something💀
but at least in this moment, I really enjoyed the railjet, the first, and especially the business class was great

Noise levels are important, especially for lounges, and waiting areas; I think.

Definitely, sorry for missing that, if I do another one of these I'll make sure to include it.
As for the noise levels, I can tell you after the fact:
Both of the lounges were very quiet, the Prague lounge was quite full but people kept to themselves, and the Brno lounge was completely empty
As for the stations themselves, yeah that's a different story, I was experiencing the full hustle and bustle of both train stations

Czech Republic has excellent wafer cookies. Why does Czech services always serve often stale Austrian wafer cookies???

Ahoj, vyplatí se pořídit tu in kartu?

    • @vaclav_fejt

Taky záleží jestli jsi student, protože studenská sleva je vždy víš než IN sleva, takže nesmíš využívat oboje zároveň

Vyplatí se jít dělat na dráhu a mejt IN100 za 1 500 Kč za rok + FIP do zahraničí a další výhody... (už se na ní nemůžu dočkat ☺).

To me this topic is not that interesting, but I'm surprised even the business class is affordable. I wouldn't feel appropriate to use it with children though.

      Fair enough.
When I came to the business class section, the people occupying those seats where what you'd except, middle-manager types with their laptops open.
Then I came in, and everyone looked at me for a brief moment, like "wtf is this kid doing here"
Even the conductor looked a little bit surprised hahaha, he probably thought I had no business there, until i showed my ticket

yes, there are thousands of armed muslims and drunk ukrainians waiting on the train to make your journey unpleasant
