I am seriously curious to know why!

Love this these are a berry kind boys
This simple act of kindness does more to promote the British Army than hours of HR and advertising. Thank you for your service.
Advertising? Recruitment efforts are not usually described as advertising. The British Army doesn't make, sell or delivery any product. They are part of the MOD. Abraham Maslow described the basic need of humans is for Safety & Security. That's what the BA provides the citizens of the UK. The Guards Regiments are a visible reassurance of this.
@@dbyers3897 Hopefully it was clear what I was trying to say but thanks for your information.
Especially considering normally they'll just barge them out the soldiers way
@@Peters2centsWorth it was perfectly clear !!
@@Questionsarelong that’s if they are on guard, in public duties. Here they are just walking through St James’s Park to Wellington Barracks. If they were marching formally, they wouldn’t have stopped for photos.
Those blokes likely never get home if they stopped for every picture. Good Guys.
Souhlasím,byli skvělí.👍👍👍
On a Civi Walk they will not stop for everyone and have an exact time to get to their destination......
They were in a rush to get to the NAAFI before it called last orders 🍻🍻🍻
very kind guys
Because they are so Cute!@@iociccio936
The guy with the bugle has a fabulous uniform! Well done him for being friendly to kids!
Thanks
😂
The guy with the Bugle is a Drummer with the Welsh Guards. All army drummers carry a bugle, harking back to the days when orders were transmitted by Drum calls, then later by bugle.
@@jimpomac I hope we can give them a clown nose as well to wear.
@@fallcolors05 No dude you can keep yours. There is only one clown and its you ... 🤦♂🤡
What an Absolute credit to the King and the entire country. Heads up fellas keep smiling. This is soft power at its best. Respect.

Like meeting God Himself!
Excellent public relations. Well done to these two Welsh Guardsmen.
Yes Top Guards !!
I thought they were Irish guards? I must be getting the plumes mixed up and Irish wear blue then, right?
@@karlbanks3943 Irish Guards have their tunic buttons in Fours. Welsh Guards have their buttons in Fives also they have a White and Green plume.
@@alunturner6919 thanks 👍

Okay, now you blokes are just making this $hit up! 😆😂🤣
How absolutely lovely! The kind gestures of these Guards made my heart sing so I can only imagine what happy memories the tourists will take home with them. What splendid gentlemen they are!
And you believe this is real ? There is no way the guards, when in uniform, would 1] Weave in and out of people. 2] High five or 3] stop to pose for photos.
@@stevegold479 Maybe they were off duty or on their way to duty?
@@stevegold479 Of course it's real.....this is what's called a "Civi Walk"......
@stevegold479 they are off duty and walking back to barracks
@@markscouler2534 Not off duty when in uniform. British Army sets high standards
Brilliant to see this gesture and probably the only time one is allowed to touch the King's Guard
Makes me proud to be a Guardsman. I was a Drummer, like the Guardsman on the left. High five💂
❤❤❤
Hold up, I saw a Bugler,
( forgive me if i am wrong , please,)
the bugler can issue commands, by bugle, if, commanding officer can not be heard, or is incapacitated (i.e.wounded, unconscious, out of hearing range)
@richard, sorry, I backtracked video where Guards were the other way round. Thank You , for your service .
I often wonder how, on horseback, with control of reigns ,musical instrument,.. just how is precision possible?
@richardgough sorry, again. APPARENTLY, the Seargent Major is not a Bugler. Apologies all round.
I have a lot to learn.
Taking them longer to walk that last bit 😂well done sirs. So smart all of them, a credit 🇬🇧🏴
Drummer & senior NCO of the Welsh Guards (5 buttons) so not sirs, enlisted, but they are gentlemen.
@Bus Stop Today: "Don't call me 'Sir'! I work for a living!!" 😅
I could imagine the conversation back at the barracks;
Captain: "Care to explain where you 2 have been"
NCO: "We were ambushed, people were shooting from all directions, we barely made it out alive sir"
@@leeowen4989 brilliant thanks for the giggle 😆😆
I liked that they thanked the soldiers for posing with them. In most of these videos that rarely happens. ❤
Unlike this pair, in the other videos you see the guards are on duty.
@@jean6872Manners, still count.
If a Guard on Official Duty , cannot respond, a 'thank you' or, 'please may I' is heard, and appreciated.❤
I'm totally surprised. I would never have believed that the two gentlemen would allow to be touched by strangers. These are very friendly and lovable guards.
They can't when they're on duty - which they usually are. They're just walking back from somewhere here, not doing anything official. Still nice of them to stop so often though.
Super,ok👍👍👍👍👏
@@thegroovetube3247hey are on duty......this is just a Civi Walk around the palace for public relations.....it's done two or three times a week....what the video didn't show is the unmarked armed police vehicle following them 300yards behind......RIP Lee Rigby, missed but never to be forgotten.....21st S.A.I.B.
@@SNAFU.. What?? As they walk along the crowded path through the park there's an unmarked police vehicle driving behind them? I don't think so. They're obviously just going from A to B.
@@thegroovetube3247 Like I said it's a Civi Walk....Think what you want....300 yards is 900ft....it's quite a long way behind on the opposite side of the road........21st S.A.I.B.
What a lovely thing to do to allow tourists to take pictures, the uniforms are so beautiful I can understand why they all want pictures ❤❤❤
The reaction of the school children, after been given a high five priceless
That's British Soldiers at their best. This shows respect and loyalty to the public. This shows they are human. This was awesome
How nice to see the Guards enjoying a walk and interacting with the public. ❤🇬🇧❤
Their not members of RGG and therefore are not considered Guardsmen
@@savagegaming4133 Sorry l missed something? What do you mean ?
Since they are members of the music core and are not technically active service men, they fall under a completely different command structure and therefore adhere to different regulations and procedures, the people that you seen in the tunics are members of the RGG, Royal Grenadier Guards, that is the primary foot regiment for the queens guards, you've also got the household calvary which are the ones on horse, the Scots Guards and 2 other regiments, depending on where you go. So my point is it's no surprise that these to were so informal on official duty since they are not expected to maintain strict discipline that RGG and the other kings guards regiments would
@@savagegaming4133 sorry they looked like Welsh guardsmen to me .
@@savagegaming4133 Rubbish, they're The Welsh Guards. Check the uniforms out.
I love how even just walking down the street, not on official duty, they still walk in time with each other, the soldier with the bugle even speeds up at times or quickly adjusts his stride in order to get back in time with his comrade. This is brilliant footage. I love it.
How kind they were to the public.
That brought a lot os smiles. These soldiers look so smart. Very proud to be British.
Well Done, Sirs, Let's Remember These men are Actually "human", They're Soldiers, But they DO have Feelings.
We Salute You
Bless these men...🫡 Sgt. Maj. and Drummer
Wow! What a nice surprise for those people just walking down the street not expecting anything. These guards are obviously walking with purpose, but also took time to pose for a few people along the way. Awesome!
What a Spiffing and lovely gesture by both the Drummer and the Company Sergeant Major! I'm sure it made the Children's day even better! It certainly made mine, and I wasn't the one getting the High-Fives or the photo opportunities!
You can tell rank just by the back of the uniform? Very impressive
@@richardjones4080 . yup... the Drummer is wearing his Drummer tunic and has a Horse hair plume..And his bugle of course.. The CSM/WO. IS Wearing more gold trim. Has a crimson silk sash. A feather plume. and is carrying a Pace stick or Cane..
@@richardjones4080 Thanks! As @Jay Spiers said the Drummer is wearing his Drummers Tunic, which is quite easy to spot, the Company Sergeant Majors (CSM) uniform is a little more tricky as they look like Regimental Sergeant Majors (RSM), the only difference is the Rank insignia on their Arms. Company Sergeant Majors have the Regimental Colour surmounted by two swords and a Crown on top. RSM's have the "Big Badge" which is also quite easy to spot, which is the coat of arms. Hope this makes sense!
@@delvinrodriguez3341thanks for the extra information especially about the insignias. Mr go-to 😊

What wonderful men! How kind they are, and friendly!!! God bless them!
Had to notice that they were constantly in step with one another. Even when they made the turn towards the end of the reel the man on the left did a half step to get back in sysnc. ANd the length of their strides perfectly matched. An amazing testament to training and responsibility.

If I was casually walking on a summer’s day and two of the Kings Guard circled me as they walked past, I would definitely have a quick look behind me to make sure the regiment were not following.
How remarkably good natured those two gentlemen were. My GOD. They could literally be detained ALL DAY if the crowd gets bots way. But they're so kind hearted.
