THE SONG OF THE DAWN by The Long Kesh Ramblers

- The song I sing is a song of old,
a song of Roisin Dubh
Of glade and glen, of ford and fen,
of homes and of mountains too
Of the signs that stand over all the land
to tell of the long ago
Let your voices ring in the song I sing,
Sean-Eire na nGaedheal go deo
Wher' all the night is ended,
we see the dawn red glow
Oh, shout it high, it's a free man's cry,
Sean Eireann an Gael go deo
I sing of every wood and stream,
Of tower, and vale, and town.
Where brave men tried ,and brave men died
To tear that auld rag down.
And from Cilarraidhe brave to the widest wave
Where Lagan's waters flow,
From Teamhair na Ri to the winding Laoi
Sean-Eire na nGaedheal go deo!
Wher' all the night is ended,
we see the dawn red glow
Oh, shout it high, it's a free man's cry,
Sean Eireann an Gael go deo
I raise a rann for those who tread
The path to the dawning day.
Who will pause no more till their native shore,
Is free from the Saxon sway;
And from every hill and from every rill
The freedom-cry will go,
From old and young, the Gaelic tongue
Sean-Eire na nGaedheal go deo!
Wher' all the night is ended,
we see the dawn red glow
Oh, shout it high, it's a free man's cry,
Sean Eireann an Gael go deo - เพลง
Great Song. ☘️🇮🇪🕊
Séan-Érie nGael go deo!
Would love to get my hands on the original recording of this, preferable digital. Surely someone has a master somewhere.
This band is actually quite old and performed and recorded in Ireland in the 70s so an original recording would be only in the form of a record
@@caoimhemackle3142 as long as there is master magnetic tape in a studio somewhere it can be remastered and digitalised, but appreciate that's likely long gone. Would settle for a vinyl if I could.
