If we can apply the message conveyed by the story then our life will be much easier and happier. In a nutshell, this is a great movie.
Best part of movie is it's simplicity. I can imagine how much homework and teamwork needed to make this possible. Movie was flowing like silent river but deep down piercing your heart with strong emotions. This creation is milestone of our movie industry. I met him 2 or 3yrs ago.Bipin uncle is a great friend of my dad.
This movie was released right after Joaquin Phoenix's Joker,. Watched Joker twice in theatre. Thought Selfie king was a rip off of the movie so didn't go to the theater at that time. The trailer had very similar scenes, character and mood. I was surprised on how did an actor like Bipin Karki signed up. BUT after watching it here I realized I was wrong. Amazing work. Very slow-burn story line, great character development, top notch performance and amazing cinematography. I rate this 8/10. But i can relate why this didn't work out in the theater. Mass Nepali audience isn't ready for this genre. Really appreciate Selfie King's team and a huge Bipin Karki fan.
Same here i thought this movie was trying to rip of the joker film at least in mood and potrayel of lead character...its also sad that most nepali audience only watch commercial movies but thanfully youtube is there for those who care . Really enjoyed the concept of the film !

For the first time in my 24 yrs of age, I left my home for Military training for only 9 months. Within a month, he was diagnosed with Cancer stage 4, and after 4 months it took him away. I never got a chance to talk face to face, but at least I was there for his cremation. To end, you never know what’s in your fates and destiny of your lives. Be kind to your parents. You never know KAL HO NA HO. I really missed him. Rest In Peace “BOI” see you other side of life.

This movie sure is gonna inspire young filmmakers from Nepal. There are many things we can learn in this movie for future filmmakers including me. If I'm not wrong ARRI cam Nepali Industry ma 1st nai hola. It is an OSCAR & NETFLIX material if the audio is fixed & subtitle added. After so long watched GOOD & SATISFYING Nepali movie herna paiyo.
