Obviously one of the cult albums of german prog rock...i love it as it is a treasure,so many memories and the music,especially the soaring guitar of Hess and the heavy organs are catching attention,and the effects on it that make it a psychedelic journey into our own minds...it got me hooked...its also their best album in case of the choir singing...the voices nearly sound celestial on this,remind me a little of pink floyd and even a little beatlesk ! Aaaahh,aaaaaahh,ah-haaaa...you can feel some of the tracks in the stomach...and that is what i like ;)
I'm glad you like the "Jane" are really super, even in my opinion this is the "masterpiece" par excellence.
The Gladiator Of Rock Yes...the atmosphere here make me become chicken skin...when i was younger i was choosing music based on how it made me feel...if the pulse rate got higher,and i felt fluffy clouds in the back of my head,hahaha,it had what i needed ! Music has to do a lot with emotion,maybe the most emotional thing ever humans created...i have the same with beautiful mellotron arrangements,its like getting weightless and drifting away ! Have that with a lot of your uploads too,they kick my a... out of this world,and i land elsewhere,far far from my home :)))

I was at their concerts in the eighties and in the music magazines they had good critics and were often compared by early Pink Floyd stuff.

The guitar lines are really beautiful on this one,and not so complicated...nice to spend time with a guitar and training to play with the vinyl (thats how i learned to play some songs for my hobby) and i admit,its very relaxing to play like this ! Sounds nice and i dont have to be a guitar hero like Robert Fripp to do it,haha :)

The Gladiator Of Rock Not always,hahaha...depends a lot to my mood if it sounds more sorted and clear or like under pressure and dirty,and then i play some wrong notes,mostly in the fast parts of a song...i always had it like that,the guitar is not my main instrument,i was singing and playing keyboard for over 20 years,but i desired to play some guitar too...was more young,i loved Toni Iommi and BS a lot and tried some blues and heavy rock...or experimental space sounds,cause i love space rock a lot...the more slow songs arent bad,but i got aware,i will never be a guitar crack,you know ! But its a hobby,and i learned to relax and not to freak out if i had a bad day...just try another day ! Its like with painting or drawing...you will feel fast if it dont work fine and if it sounds great,you nearly get in a trance state of mind...i was in 3 bands in my twenties,but we never overcome our city for more attention and broke up after some years ;)

My teammate from college days, Dave Kareem Abdul Basketball Jones, was tripping on some Psilocybin with a VietNam vet in Denver back in 1977 or so and the ex soldier kept on muttering "THE MORTARS, man, be careful, they are walking in the mortars..." Now I finally get to hear what he was talking about... From the intro of this Jane album that I never did find.

@@gualtiero7156 Salvo que fueras un friki de la música progresiva estas cosas no llegaban a nadie, el mercado siempre difundió lo más fácil, lo más vendible, hay bandas, músicos, inclusive géneros, que la enorme mayoría desconoce, no sabe de su existencia, y no se puede juzgar o amar lo que se desconoce, creo que es espíritu del comentario de Salvador. Por suerte llegaron internet y las redes para poder explorar y conocer. Igual el mercado se sigue manejando de la misma manera.
Still love to do some music...but i have a 5 month old daughter that is catching my attention now...sometimes 24 hours a day,lets see if i find time to be creative...she needs me more in the moment,that is all that count ! Meanwhile im singing,thats something i can do all time,hehe...and i can transport my voice easy everywhere...is a kind of freedom you get when you decide to sing and concentrate more on that...kind of nice (but surely i miss here and there to jam) ! :)
And very beautiful what you do, the passion that you put the commitment.Brava continues on several fronts. The Glad.

Ja, wurde es...mit Erlaubnis von Niemen natürlich! Auf der Original LP die aussieht wie ein Doppelalbum, ist es auf der Rückseite bei den Credits vermerkt! Ein exzellentes völlig unterbewertetes Werk. Große Kunst. Alles Andere von Jane auch, aber das ist mit Abstand das beste. Es braucht keine Charts, um das festzustellen!
Finde ich auch,einfach genial und zeitlos! (ist eine Inselplatte,d.h.: Wenn drei Platten auf eine einsame Insel, dann wäre die dabei sowie "Bauer Plath" v.Witthüser u. Westrupp u. "Ocean " von ELOY
@@peterhemmerling9809 sind hervorragend, für mich würde etwas von Grobschnitt oder Eroc und Kevin Coyne dazugehören, darüberhinaus würde ich mir für die Insel Oktopus (Gentle Giant) vergolden lassen. Viel Spaß!
@@robertbezold3717 : Also fassen wir mal zusammen was wir zur Insel Oktopus mitnehmen; Satin Whale Whalecom, Hölderlin-Hölderlins Traum,Wallenstein-Mother Universe,Grobschnitt-Rockpommels Land, Popul Vuh-Hosianna Mantra........und,und,und.......Der Krautrock war das beste was in der deutschen Musikszene jemals gab. Wurde dann leider durch die neue deutsche Welle zur Sau gemacht. Aber wir werden sie nicht vergessen!!!!

Band, die viele Alben aufgenommen hat, mit Musik, die die Muttersprache Deutschlands spricht, die an viele erinnert, Embryo, Tangerine Dream, Can, Armaggedon und viele andere. Sag hallo nach Deutschland, Ave Rock.💪🎶
Viele haben sich von Pink Floyd inspirieren lassen, aber zum Beispiel ELOY, sind ihren eigenen Weg gegangen
Trotzdem finde ich sie genial, bzw was sie aussagt
Amatoriale, confuso, rozzo e privo di stile, derivativo (a volte tentano di copiare i Pink Floyd, a volte i Deep Purple, in un episodio persino Lou Reed!), musicalmente povero. Ascolterò qualcos'altro di questo gruppo, sperando Beetween non sia considerato tra i loro migliori.... Grazie comunque per averne condiviso l'ascolto.
Lehet, hogy igazad van, de akkor legalább még 20 ilyen hasonmást is felsorólhatnál. Szerintem így is jobbak mint a a felsoroltak. Természetesen kivéve a PINK FLOYD együttest!
