This is in the upper echelon for psych records for sure. Love the electronics that make their way into this lp. And on ABC even. Cool one, nice work Chris!
Got an OG copy! Good one!
Hi Mike! I live the cover. The music is cool too! They are new to me. Thank you for the introduction to another cool record to keep my eyes open for. ✌🏽 I subscribed to your channel.
Steve
Another great showing Chris. The whole acid archives thread is a whirl of stuff l've never seen before.
Chris, ''Diamond Studded Eyes'' is a perfect title for a psyche/ pop song. The use of the ''heartbeat'' sound pre-dates Pink Floyd's use of it on ''Dark Side Of The Moon''. My now retired co-worker, Mark grew up with the Cowsill family in Newport. Mark jammed with some of the Cowsill members throughout the years, when they played at small nightclubs in Newport. John Cowsill played drums for Mark's brother's band before the Cowsill group was formed. Mark never mentioned the connection to Bit 'A Sweet, if I bump into him, I'll ask him about it.
Hi Chris - This is another new one to me. I enjoyed this one!
Looks to be a lovely copy! I always mention, this is a top 5-10 U.S. psych LP for me. A nice variety of pop from the use of theremin, moog, strings, sitar, leslie speaker vocals, sound effects in-between tracks, etc. Glad you covered this one! I would've probably gotten to it eventually.
nice overview and comments thanks fpr sharing
Thanks Mark.
It is always interesting that by 68 everyone thought you needed to have sound effects, I guess that gave it the psych feel Another obscure album from your collection Chris
Thanks Steve. There seemed to be a template. Remember, not every track sounds like my samples!!
l left a comment yesterday but now it's gone... good one chris
Oh no! The comment thief strikes again. Thanks Sherv.
Nice one Chris! I dig this one.
Thanks Tom.
I recently bought that Cowsills single. I didn’t know a guy from the Bit A Sweet album wrote it. I like the Bit A Sweet album and have listened to it often.
I didn't realize it either until researching for this video, Kornfeld/Duboff. Thanks, Chris
Hiya Chris👋🏻that Cowsills song you mentioned was a favorite. It was quite different than most of their songs….interesting group here…good stuff here…have a good week my friend 😎🤘🏻☮️🎶
Hey Lis. I couldn't remember the title with the camera pressure! Lol

Nice this is one of my Grails .
Just picked up that album from a local shop of mine, great stuff
I like this album, though I don't know if I would pay big money for it.
I agree. It was tough enough to spend a buck on a blind buy many years ago. Luckily, it turned out okay. Thanks Kris
Yo Chris, Never saw a copy of this in the wild, don't own a copy either. Since they have Lennon and McCartney as writers of "If I Needed Someone", did John and Paul get George's royalties? Ha! They probably didn't even pay any royalties. 💰Heck, they probably even copped their name from the candy Bit O Honey. 🐝
Hey Ron, thanks for stopping by. The jacket has Lennon/McCartney but the label does list Harrison as the writer. I remember liking Bit O Honey as a kid, but I think it might be too much now.
