I love it. When you brought the small lanterns out more, they popped because they weren't blending in with the black planter. I think it looks ok without the tall lanterns.

I love the decor! I feel like a wooden crate on either side might help with the layering/height issue and making it appear like steps? just a thought.
Leave the lanterns , I love lanterns. Put large, tall candles in them and they will bring your eye to the height of each candle at night…love the porch. Everything looks amazing…have a blessed day💗💗💗

I absolutely love how your front porch came out for Fall. My favorite part is the American flag. Proud Marine wife and sister-in-law here. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law served over 25 years in the Marines.

I think a fall wreath will be gorgeous to raise the height and tied the orange in. Even a faux magnolia wreath and orange ribbon.

Just an idea, put your staked pumpkins on the other side of your chairs with your orange mums in a black pot.

Those bowls were a perfect solution for the florals. The tall lanterns were a great addition. Everything is beautiful! Can't wait to see the return of Mr. Pumpkin. LOL Tiger's cameos.

Put the tall lantern by the front door. Add twig wreaths to the black plant stands.
The lanterns would look good on each side of the door.
Maybe you could try raising the mums in the black pots by stuffing them with newspaper or any paper.

Try a small wooden bench...or have Chase make you one👍.... then you could raise some of your stuff up on it
The orange brings a warmth to the front of the house. All white would be lost against the white of the house.
Since you have 4 of each color of the mums you could build a topiary. I think the columns need the height.

I think you should leave the handle on the smaller big lantern standing up. It will add a little height and sort of mimic the curved top on the other one. I think too much🤣

It turned out beautifully, and your home is gorgeous. I have a tip to keep things from blowing away. Tie your mums to your planters with fishing line. You can't see it, and it works. Everything, including my pillows, is tied down on my front porch due to wind.

Paint some pavers white to put under your lantern to raise it up.
You could use cut up styrofoam pool noodles to fill in the containers to make the mums sit up higher. Your porch looks fabulous!

Absolutely luv. I would not do all white. I think with the 1 Orange Pumpkin, 1 Blk Planter & Lanterns on each side is making everything really pop. Honestly it is nice to have this setup with no stairs like everyone one else has. It is GREAT to standout from everyone. I bet people will remember yours because it is different. Also, I know you mentioned some thing about height at our house we go to a local farm and get 2 hay bales and corn stocks (that sometimes we wrap them with lights)to put on our front porch. That would add more height on both sides, and also texture. Good luck….. I also like things in 3’s. 2 lanterns on 1 side and 1 on the other.

Looks great! For the lanterns, I have the same problem with heat from the sun. So I took a cardboard cylinder and covered it with white contact paper from dollar tree. Place the cylinder in the lantern and It looks like a candle! You can get a fat cylinder from an office supply store .. they’re used for carrying posters and such.

I buy everything fake also. I used to do real (even my Christmas tree) but those days are long gone! Hoping Mr Pumpkin will make his annual appearance. I can wait for October, he's worth it! I'm always very symmetrical too. I live for balance. Love your tall urns! The bowls look nice with the mums. Kirkland's has cute pillows. GO COWBOYS!!!
