Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.
Yo shart I just wanted to say thank you to the whole community and yourself for the support about my stepfather, I didn't expect it at all. You'll be glad to hear that he is doing much better. He's not completely out of danger yet because his heart took a ton of damage, and there's still a lot of problems from his cancer, but he's definitely still fighting. Damn, this is one slick figure by Mezco. Lots of accessories. The bow looks great as does the arrows and the quiver. The Gauntlets and shinguards are awesome. The hooded vest is amazing. Mezco designed this thing very well. Love the use of wire in it.

Wow, this is an amazing Green Arrow figure, however I am not a fan of the head sculpt, I would've preferred the DC Classics Green Arrow Head Sculpt.

i just got my green arrow in today and it didnt come with the sheath for his knife....
man, I got ripped off. I got this figure and the quiver and sheath do not attach, there is no wire in the tunic so I cannot shape or move the hood.

It's crazy to me how negative people are about this figure and then sing the praises of mezco releases that are just a basic buck in spandex with minimal accessories that cost the same price. The level of detail/quality of the clothing and sculpt easily makes this one of their best pieces. I know the ankle pivot/foot articulation is a drag but let's be honest, none of these figures are meant for constant play well unless you can spring for multiples and don't care about damage to the softgoods. I treat them the same way I treat my hot toys. Mezco really should do a bit of a sliding scale with the pricing because to me even though I like the flash and reverse flash as characters more than green arrow, there's no reason those two figures should cost the same as something like this and that doesn't mean charge 75-80 for them and over a hundred for this guy either. Before anyone makes the argument about offsetting cost by doing that, they do that already by releasing multiple versions of the same figure, usually saving the best version for last with it sort of coming out of nowhere and charging over a hundred for it. Look at what they did with punisher and dkr batman for example(though my fav dkr batman is the px blue and grey classic suit which I got for cheap since the owner hated the classic batman suit and wanted to get some cash together for the black and grey one...poor choice since the one he sold me is worth twice as much nowadays). This is one of my favorite lines of all time but mezco needs to get their shit together and stop pissing off their collectors. That tiger stripe wolverine shit was a horrible mistake on their part. I got two so I'm good but I feel for everyone out there that's been wanting that kind of wolverine done well for years that will have no chance at getting one unless they're willing to pay scalpers crazy prices, but hey you can always get that weird ass looking brown one with shorts. Deadpool is another annoying one. Releasing the red one with two head sculpts that are basically the same except one has a bigger glob of white paint on one of the eyes. Now they're releasing another red one with the torn masked skull face thing and fixes to the strap issue(s) and then the x force variant with three headsculpts, more weapons with awesome detailing. It's fucking shady and shows no regard for their fans whatsoever and before anyone defends the fact that they are a company and need to do things like this to keep this profitable, I'm a successful business owner(I own a comics and collectibles shop) and most businesses like mine are extremely difficult to succeed, most fold within a year and the key to my success is treating my customers exactly how I want to be treated, with honesty, respect and good prices. I like to go to other shops in my area and I was in one the other day and they had pak figures that are still widely available and mostly on clearance selling for prices ranging from 30-70 dollars and these guys had them up for 170. they had mezco bvs batmans for 180, comics that are worth about 20 dollars on a good day listed for 75 and they wonder why they're going under. Damn that ended up being a long rant on an old ass video that no one is even going to watch anymore but it's just something that needed to be said(well for me anyway)

PillowProduction Whatever u can afford. It really comes down to whether u plan on collecting every figure from a specific line or cherry picking from many. I used to collect all of the S.H. Figuarts DBZ figures, and cherry pick here and there from other lines, but that got expensive quick. Now I only collect the mezco One:12 figures, unless u're incredibly wealthy, u can't have it all. Easiest way to keep collecting from getting too expensive it to just buy the figures u really want and can't live without. For me that happens to be most of the Mezco DC figures, but some of the Marvel figures just look too good to pass up as well. I'll only buy two figures a month at the most to keep my collecting from getting too expensive.

Righteous review but cloth clothing never looks good on figures. They always make the figure look like they're wearing their big brother's clothes that have been treated with too much starch.

I got him along with The Punisher and Daredevil. Mezco figures are expensive but they are worth it. The quality of the figures are amazing and worth it IMO. I'll be getting the upcoming Deathstroke, Batman, Iron Man, and Wolverine figure this year.
