    I got a little sea sick last time I tried this. Let's see if we cant take off in silly windy conditions. Hold on !!

    Because the wind was coming towards you at 50 that was generating a lot of lift. You don't need a lot of ground speed if the wind coming at you. It would have been a different story if you had a tailwind

      @@flightsimdeskuk Thanks and yeh I get that. Point was to put a C172 in a 50knot head wind which you wouldn't do....hence Silly !!

      @@CessSim Yeah, I saw the point. Maybe I read it wrong, but you seemed surprised it took off so quickly. Lol. Would be interesting to compare with x-plane 12 doing the same thing. I believe they have been working on the model for interacting with water recently.
