Great review. I enjoyed playing this port way back when. I abused busting the baddies to get those points and lives. To this day, I still can't fully decipher what the second form of Mr Big is supposed to be.
I was to young i was around 10 in 1989 when i first saw the arcade game i remember i was never allowed to play this in our local theatre arcade lol its funny around 1994 this game was still at the same arcade i was 15 i finally played for the first time lol
I always remember this game as a kid, in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), they briefly show the final form of the Mr. Big boss fight in the underground Foot arcade. That's awesome getting a MarMax and Retrosnow upload in the same day! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Wow, this looks so much different than in my head from so long ago. I only rented this game, and even the arcade version was weird to me. The "updated" version from 2005 was even weirder to me. As always, a great video!

Cool review. As for the music in this conversion, it was done by the same composer who'd go on and do the music in Battletoads and Donkey Kong Country since the game itself was ported by Rare.

I remember finding this game CIB at a yard sale. I passed on it for 2 bucks and immediately regretted my choice later on. Surprisingly good game. Blowing up street trash never gets old! lol. Well done Bracey! :)
Narc the video game has somewhat of a vibe and reference to the short lived action/drama T.V. series that premiered on NBC called Nasty Boys, that short lived TV series was about busting drug dealers.
@@snowcon3 Nasty Boys was an awesome TV series then for whatever unknown reason the first season of the TV series got cancelled I was too young to remember.
This is one of those games for me that I always found funny just because of the idea and the locations and of course the great boss names/stat screens. But it was one I never played much of because I always thought every iteration of it was ugly looking hahaha. That being said it is pretty fun. Great review, Snow.
Ever tried the crappy unlicensed NES Color Dreams game Raid 2020? They tried to continue the theme and even funnier due to the futuristic year that's now current. I had a friend with NARC on NES as a kid and I remember we enjoyed playing 2 player mode on it even more than Contra. I remember being a kidd and seeing this game and thinking, “ that looks really cool, but the controls look complex and theres so many enemies on the screen. This games gonna burn thru my quarters.” But I was visually enthralled by all the drugs 💊 and shit lol This was wunna those edgy games lol 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼😸
The way to beat this is a little odd instead of killing everyone you need to get your keys and go to the doors as fast as you can. This strategy helped me finish.
Some of the Nes games are like that. You can play them and enjoy them but at times if your trying to beat them you must employ specific tactics that are counter intuitive. Get the key and go past enemy after enemy to the exit. In the end you’ll finish the game but playing and finishing are sometimes different things. It’s hard to explain but if you play a lot of retro games I think you’ll understand.

So it''s not just me. Any dog enemy I've ever encountered in literally any game aggravates me to no end. That was satisfying to see. Good review :)

Those dogs are the top 10nmost anouying enemy's in any games lol in the arcade u could crouch and shoot but still a pain to hit those dogs
