Loved your art as always. Ant your dog reminded me of my little companion who is blind and often stops to sniff up in the it along the towpath to take in the surroundings. Hannah your detail was amazing, the duck feet in the air particularly made me smile. Thank you for sharing and I hope that you have a fab week ahead.

Thank you for watching. Yes I like to use pencil after to get lots of little details in. It’s satisfying 😊

A bit off topic, there around 6:37, that tower style fan, much appreciation to the people who came up with that configuration! Even when your apartment/flat is much wider than a narrowboat, their space saving shape is very handy. So is their low noise.

Great print and a cool watercolour, my summer has been spent working on the Cornish Coast the end of the season is in sight. Also caught up with Rich last week and went for a brew at a local lake side cafe. Looking forward to the winter the coast can be really quiet and beautiful with the rough sea and the crashing waves. Projects wise, not had time to get some lino printing done but have been doing some leather work and getting to grips with laser etching on to the leather with some designs, maybe more time in the winter for some reduction printing practice.......Ellis.
Ah cool that sounds really interesting work with leather. Would love to see. I'm not at all jealous of your life on the Cornish coast. We would love to experience living by the coast one day, if not just for a short time. We've never lived near the sea. Say hi to my Cousin 😊

I've been in the Calcutt gallery numerous times. Never found anyone there. Left a note with contact details, no response. Asked directly to buy two paintings. No response. Very dispiriting.

Hey Ant! You don't need a press to do the offset print onto another block. I've done it by hand a few times, although I'm mostly a reduction printmaker. Laura Boswell has shown it a few times in several of her videos. I found one of them, and although she's being very specific about using the technique with the registration device she and Mr B sell, I don't think there shouldn't be any issue adapting it to how you do registration. I've done it with Ternes Burton pins, which is basically the same concept you use. th-cam.com/video/zWly6DBtbSA/w-d-xo.html
It's not a better method I would say - it's just different. Laura herself teaches and uses both methods quite a lot across her various video series, and we got to do the offset method hands-on last time I did a class with her. That was done in a press, but like I said I've done it by hand at home with great success.
