Look at Podolski, he was great almost every time he played, he was strong, quick and a great finisher, he would've been so good as our main striker, but if Wenger isn't keen on someone for whatever reason they don't get a chance, no matter how good they are

Don't forget that some players haven't the same pressure.For example Leno thinks he is gonna be the first choice keeper,Martinez is relaxed as he knows that he will be the third choice and Čech tries to do his best,while he is 36 years of age,to get the number one spot.
