It's true that not everyone you love or trust is genuine. Some only pretend. They betray you by taking advantage of your innocence. I have been taken advantage of by others for most of my life. I thought I could trust them. Little did I know I have been betrayed by them. This circumstance led me to do certain things I wasn't supposed to do out of anger and frustration. Now I find it very difficult to trust or associate with others. So, I have chosen to keep myself to myself.
