I think it isn't really about the class. Someone can be rich and power drunk and the same applies to a poor person. Also, someone can be poor and won't be power drunk and the same applies to a rich person. It's situations and circumstances that expose the true nature of people. The young lady was FOOLISH. Married to higher and low class is only a problem when one party has LOW SELF ESTEEM. But it's a better choice to marry up. My nephew married down to a hispanic and she's now looking for someone with more than him. Same story like Emeka's case.
Well unfortunately the wife was not content with the life that she had. It wasn't as though she was suffering either. Her husband was doing VERY well even before moving to a different state. Yet, her ambitions which had been lead by her own insecurities got the best of her, and in turn, she landed right where she started... from the bottom. In regards to two people marrying from different socio-economic backgrounds, although the familiarity of marrying a person from the same background brings comfort, sometimes, depending on the couple, the different class backgrounds can bring a good balance and healthy insight to things. However, it wouldn't work if one of the partners begin to let himself or herself become insecure and uncertain. This is how suddenly, wives become like the one in this story, or husbands become too controlling and unsupporting of his wife's endeavors.
Wow how can I start this one I predicted this story from the beginning to the end and I can't believe I got it right I sad it and it happened the only story I refer this tail to is the dog and the bone the dog went across a low but small bridge and the dog saw it reflection in the stream and the reflection was another dog with a bone like his the dog growl and bark at it own reflection and the dog lost the bone notice I never use he or she because we have woman and men that behave like that dog sorry to see that her son died but listen blaming it on the woman doesn't solve anything because we have people that is content and people that is greedy but I will say this his mother must have saw some thing in his wife when she was a child that she saw and a African proverb say what the elder see when sitting down a child will not see it on the top of a palm tree what a F up life he gone and she still alive how fair can.
