I love it - great story! It moves at a good pace and has a storyline that leaves you wondering what’s going to happen next. The introductory scene really grabs your attention with the circling, ominous birds, and the driving background music. The setting for the introduction gave me such a feeling of desolation too, like it’s just way out in the middle of nowhere. Every character is well cast; the sheriff is just awesome (he really looks the part and is a formidable character!), Hacksaw the bartender (what a gruff voice and tough persona!), the guy at the bar (I wouldn’t want to mess with Rockwell!), just all the characters fit their rolls very well. The grandma in the bar that also whips out a gun really cracked me up! The background music fits well into each scene, and the transitions (both audio and video) readily flow from one scene to the next. The variations in settings, time of year (snowy winter to desert summer), and even time of day, all add so much to the feeling of elapsing time as the film progress. A very professional look and feel to this project; I can tell you put lots of time, money, and effort into this short western film! Really fine job, writing, acting, and directing - Bravo to all who were involved it making a very entertaining movie!!
Wow, this film was intense! The cinematography really captured the harshness of the West. The lead's performance was chilling. What a way to portray the cost of revenge!
@Peck Tox that’s a good insight…we dirtied up some of the clothes in a few scenes but it definitely could have been more. Thanks for commenting! It is much appreciated!
Very Credible Artistic Effort! Good story, Fine Music, and Great videography..!! Stunning outdoor Utah scenics, especially with the drone images!!! Good authenticity 'look' on costumes, firearms & sound. As 'thumbs-up' #26 - I really enjoyed watching this video-photoplay...
Thank you so much! If aren’t opposed, I greatly appreciate it if you shared this video with anyone else you know who might enjoy it. Either way, have a great day! 🤠🐎🔫🏜️

Enjoyed this film. Thanks for making it. Is it all in your head by the time you start filming? Do you prefer story boarding or the actual filming? Loved the nods to the classic western stories. Enjoyed the film even more upon repeat viewing, as we noticed even more little things we hadn’t noticed before. Lots of layers of symbolism.
As for whether or not it’s all in my head by the time we start filming:yes and no. I plan/storyboard and rehearse as much as possible before hand to ensure a quick, easy shoot, but I’m always open to ideas on set from my wonderful cast and crew, including Mark Bracich, Ty Pursley and Scott Cannon. Would you be interested in any commentary tracks to learn more about the behind the scenes?

Intense? More like over-the-top. The plot was predictable, and the character motivations were weak. I mean, did we really need another revenge story?
Oh kuddos on getting a Kurt Russel lookalike..peq
Thanks! Are you referring to the gentleman who plays the sheriff?
Excellent film!
Thank you! What was the aspect you enjoyed the most?
@@RobertEricJenkins We thought the editing was terrific.
Not bad, the only thing I see odd is no dirt. Everyone has nice clean outfits..no trail dust

Most of it was on a canon, with a combination of vintage prime lenses and zoom lenses.
