I just received my BD-2 Blues Driver pedal and posted a video so similar to yours using the driver clicking it on after initial few rhythm chords. You play violin beautifully! I love my driver pedal and I keep all settings at 50% so it tempers the gain a bit. Thank you for your video using your pedal, I hope you are still enjoying it. 🙂
Hi John, I just saw your video. The distortion sounds great! I like how you make it sound very warm and subtle. I did like the pedal, but I never found a way to make it work in my compositions. So I finally sold it to a friend. Now I am exploring other things to see if I like them more. I just bought the Plus pedal, which is a very cool sustain. I am loving it so far.
Mireia Clua Thank You for your very kind reply. Honestly, I had absolutely no idea that a violinist could use pedals. It just goes to show, even at my age (49), I am learning new things each day! I hope you enjoy the pedal(s) that you use now and it is always fun trying new musical accessories that work with your musical compositions. Please continue to bring happiness to yourself, your Family, and all those who enjoy your wonderful videos. You are an exceptional musician and I am so blessed to receive such a kind reply from you today. 😊
Hola Ernesto, ¡cuanto tiempo...!
Hi Santiago, I am very new to all this pedal world and I didn't know the big muff. I just watched some videos with guitar players and it sounds great! I might try it! Thanks for the suggestion. 😉 Best, Mireia.
Hi Aaroha, there are lots of interesting effects to use with the electric violin. It all depends on which sounds you want to make. The octave pedal is super cool because it allows you to drop two octaves and play like a bass (I use the Boss OC-3). I also like reverb, delay (I have a Boss Space Echo), sustain (I love the Plus Pedal by Gamechanger), and sometimes I use light distortion (I use the Boss Blues Driver BD-2). I hope this helps! ;)

Νice! What amplifier do you use?
Hi Chris, I use the Roland Chorus AC-60. I like it very much!
te gusta el blues driver?
