Thank 's a lot , one more time, to remain us our past on the road .I now realize, and I'm not alone , that I didn't have reflex to take cameras at this time, such a shame ' cause I also realize that my memory isn't as good as before and I forget more and more moments and all the things that do ours job ...

Used to do loads of Hangartner work out of Italy when Lib and Paulo were in charge of the London end.
Cliff Luxton @ 00.19 was still doing Morocco for in his own truck subbing for John Mann when he was 79 years old. Great guy......

How unselfish were we away back then, these photos show the difficult times these driver's had, mainly solo drivers no second man, most of the motors were day cabs at best, we should think ourselves very fortunate,as always another great set of photos, stay well regards 🚛🚛👍

You say that mean while i feel like i missed out on the good times i was totally born in the wrong era i was born January 2004 the year of the 164 now i watch these videos and think were did the time go feel like yesterday when scania released the R STREAMLINE series now comes the 770 monsters and soon diesel engines will be obsolete it depresses me to think lads of my age will be the real last of the cowboys that roam the motorways to feed and build the world and help pull some countrys from the ashes and rubble i just hope someone will realise they need us truckers robots cant do what we do and do it as safe as we do and go into places of the globe were many a man has gone and not come back from because the age of the trucker is still needed were if trucking was to be operated by robotics qnd electric it dies and bringing the world with it now i may be wrong but trucking is what i know i know nothing else my grandfathers drove trucks and earthmoving machines my dad my uncles and a cousin and im soon to pay my does to my country haulin the freight of tomorrow with that im signing off see ya on the flip flop 10-4 bye bye

    I remember
MAT even in the early 80 s doing Italy with only day cab 110 Scanias. Disgraceful way to treat drivers.
