How To Install Farmhouse Sink | Bokaiya 33” Double Basin Stainless Steel Sink Review | DIY Retrofit

- Review and installation of the Bokaiya 33X22X10 inch black apron front farmhouse sink. This sink is made 16 gauge stainless steel and comes with useful accessories such as drying rack, cutting board and a vegetable/fruit rinsing basket. It is being retrofitted into a existing 33 inch standard sink base. Manufacturer suggest a 36” base cabinet but I wanted it to go from edge to edge. This video goes through that process in some detail but a much more detailed video will be uploaded showing the full install.

I just got the Bokaiya 30 inch single bowl drop in sink and I’m excited- I think I’m gonna love it! Mine is the same 10 inches deep, and will probably fit almost all of my dishes in it at once. The one big difference is the clips, which is the reason I’m onto tube right now. Thanks for the video, it has points that are extensive useful.

Question what if you don’t have a left side wall is it cool to build a wall for the sink
What is the color of your counter? Looks good.
We just had one of these sinks installed and plan to get granite countertops. However, the contractor who installed it made it to where the the lip of the sink sits about 1-2mm above the top of the cabinet. Will this be a problem? We plan on having the countertops go over the lip of the sink so its flush with the inside wall of the sink.
We just installed a similar sink and when the countertop guys did all their measurements they told us the sink needs to be flush with the top of the cabinets.
Shouldn’t be an issue. Fill gap with silicone. Thanks for watching!
@@rontalley Well, in theory there will be a gap EVERYWHERE except the sink, since the lip of the sink is higher than the cabinets. I wonder if shims could be used all over the tops of the cabinets to make them level to the sink.

great job. you literally did the impossible. not because its a retrofit, or its 33" sink into a 33" cabinet. its the no shim needed for it to sit level. those 2 horizontal 2x4's are bang on leveled, and on the same plane of each other, and at the same height!! HOW?!?!? lol
