In this video, we'll compare Godzilla and the Ice Titan Shimo in various aspects such as height, length, weight, body design, weapons, powers, intelligence, roar, evolution, aggressiveness, and more. Godzilla stands at 393 feet (120 meters) tall and weighs 100,000 tons, while Shimo towers at 533 feet (162.5 meters) tall and weighs 200,000 tons, making her the heaviest titan in the Monsterverse. Their appearances differ, with Godzilla having dark, spiky scales and Shimo having white, turtle-like scales. Both have formidable powers, with Godzilla's atomic breath reaching temperatures of 750,000 degrees Celsius and Shimo's "Frost Bite blast" capable of freezing down to the atomic level. In terms of intelligence, Godzilla shows tactical prowess, while Shimo demonstrates a reasonable level of understanding. Godzilla has undergone several evolutions, while Shimo has remained unchanged. Godzilla is more aggressive and experienced in combat, having defeated numerous foes, while Shimo is more peaceful, only becoming aggressive when commanded. Godzilla's territory is the surface world, while Shimo resides in the Hollow Earth. Their encounter history suggests that Shimo initially had the upper hand but Godzilla eventually overcame her icy powers. So they have a similar phisiology, both have spikes, scales and powerful spiked tails, but their Power are different: Shimo Is based on cold and ice while Godzilla Powers are based on Fire and heat
And with all of that Shimo isn’t related which by itself is pretty funny because of how many children of TikTok say they are

Loved how Godzilla & Shimo were just ramming each other like nothing but body shots. So Godzilla & Shimo are the 2 strongest kaijus in the monsterverse so if Mothra is queen so does that make Shimo a queen as well.
The reason mothra is called queen is cuz Goji is the king and mothra has a symbiotic relationship with him, powerwise shimo is the true queen

Yin/Yang. Shimo is a welcome addition to Kaiju lore. Lots of potential there.
Shimo and Godzilla are species that are very similar, except they have opposite powers. This is just my personal assumption because Godzilla often interacts with humans, so Godzilla's brain may have evolved to be much smarter compared to Shimo who acts like a real animal, a horse for example.
Godzilla, Kong, and Ghidorah are titans with above-average intelligence, approaching human levels of intelligence... But we don't really know because Shimo is still very young.

I don't think Godzilla is the "ultimate" Alpha, the only Titan that could be "the ultimate Titan" by the iwi scriptures was Shimo.
Also, after Rio Battle the Goverment in the Novel compares Godzillas threat niveau to humanity with Shimo; "When they thought Godzilla was a threat, what would they think of a 'real' worldender".
Dr. Andrews said Shimo is kind-hearted and doesn't want to destroy the world like Ghidorah. But If the Goverment comes done to Hollow earth "and mess with her-that really would cause an worldending event". Implying, if provoked, no one could stop her to end the world and imbalance the natural order.
Unless Godzilla comes down there and calms shimo down and wipes the government out
Stop milking shimo lol. She can't be an alpha cause she follows order easily instinctively. An alpha assert dominance to other titans. She got easily controlled by that fraud skar king, and let herself be petted by king Kong at the end. We are not using the scene where Godzilla roared and she shot her beam to scar king cause probably she was confused, her head hurts etc. But the point is she is not an alpha titan. But that doesn't mean she is weak, so MV made a good job making non alpha titans that were less combat oriented,important to story or to the community. Usually when you think of non alpha, names like behemoth, Methuselah, amhuluk etc. Comes to mind but to think shimo is one of them. She is strong probably STRONGEST base form but yeah how come there was a time she got mind controlled, and let herself be petted. So other titans that are laying dormant monitored by monarch or titans from the hollow earth could still be strong no matter if they are alpha or not. It seems like the status PROTECTOR or DESTROYER is the more important thing in classifying them like tiamat for example is destroyer etc etc.
@@judjud1703yep she's dumb, cause of that she wasn't fully evolved or fully grown, literally the director confirmed Shimo was 3 million years old, which was quite younger than Godzilla, which also means she could still grow more and more massive and more powerful, mostly she will need to gain knowledge and more IQ... She can't be an alpha on such a young age since she didn't have knowledge nor how to control all of them since she's too kindhearted, while Godzilla only wants the smoke nothing else, that's what the kings does...

These two Titans share similar biotic proportions but on indicator that makes these two different is one holds the ability of ice and the other holds the ability of fire. Godzilla and Shimo probably had a symbiotic relationship like with Mothra as well.

Its sad that even after he evolved. Hes still no match. His strongest attack did nothing to shimo. She must of destroyed him in the past. G is fortunate shimo is a peaceful titan and not bloodlusted. The world would be done for
I think Big G was able to withstand Shimo's frostbite blast in their battle in Hollow Earth because she was restrained and still under Skar King's control. She wasn't able to unleash her full power because of Skar King's control over her. I'm not saying Godzilla would lose in a fair fight, but it is important to note that the situation is favorable to Godzilla when he faced Shimo meaning Shimo's blast probably not in its most powerful at that time. She was able to trap Ghidora in ice by accident during ancient times so I believe it would also happen to Godzilla if she was not under Skar King's control. Remember that the crystal is putting her in pain so~
I don't think that stops her from using her full power considering she does the same to everyone, how she froze Kongs hand, froze Godzilla body and Skar king when she wasn't under control were all the same, no difference at all. Godzilla has a inner core that is extremely hot, and can easily burn through and break out of the ice, it did it while evolving too, which shows it being capable of doing so.

Shimo is actually shorter in length than that. She's not the longest out of all the Titans according to Wikizilla, so that means Shimo is around 198 or 206 Meters in overall length.

He did not show that he could overcome her icy powers. He showed that he needed someone to SAVE him from her icy powers and give him an opportunity to break free before being completely frozen solid. It was also stated in the novel that she IS more powerful than him and is truly the most powerful titan on earth, so if anyone is the "true alpha titan" it'd be her. Even though he was going all out on her and she was hardly paying attention to him because she was forced to go after Kong, he still could hardly do anything to her and she nearly froze him solid (if not for him getting help) and even tossed his ass across the whole city with 1 arm.
Godzilla is full of heat and radiation, breaking out of ice is pretty easy for him, he wouldn't need help to break out on his own which is exactly what happened, a distraction from being killed is different because you didn't stop it yourself, but Godzilla was already frozen, and yet he still broke out, he also broke out when evolving, it's not about being a fanboy, it's just logical, why would someone with the ability to overheat stay frozen ? Godzilla is the exact counter to Shimo.

@mikel.5414 That's not the same at all and is a poor example. Kong is not able to survive an Atomic Nuclear Bomb, so how would Kong survive an Atomic Breath at point blank. At best Kong survived being burned by napalm which burns at about 800-1200°C, an Atomic Breath is 500.000°C, an Atomic Nuclear Bomb is 1.000.000°C. Being frozen doesn't mean you were killed as we saw with Ghidora, and have real life examples of animals who slow down their metabolism to survive a winter season, like frogs, crocs and so on. Godzilla is capable of the same thing, and would likely be able to control it's body to produce what's necessary to break out of the ice, which is alot easier to do than surviving an Atomic Nuclear Bomb anyway. Again the ice didn't kill Godzilla even on direct impact, Kong's hand got extremely severly damaged by that same Ice breath, so explain to me how your logic is true.

The novel mentioned "the hypotetical Titan" (Shimo) is "something big, something on the level of Monster Zero. Or worse". It was mentioned during a conversation, questioning; "What the hell was he getting ready to fight?". They take into account the behavior of Godzilla, becoming "more powerful than ever" as quickly as possible. Hence, "Or worse".
This conversation was before they realized Ghidorahs Ice samples had the same radiation as the ice samples found in Greenland, who triggered the ice age cycle. And they also described the Antarctica incident as a "singular event", the ice samples didn't match the age of the ice found in Greenland. Questioning; "Are you saying this thing put monster zero on ice? And started the last ice age?" Dr. Andrews replied with Shimo could 'the ultimate titan' or ' the quintessential titan' according to the iwi scriptures not the 'the original titan', as she first translated, since she was "translating in a hurry".
From the Novel we know also, "Shimo was stronger" as Evolved Godzilla, but "In his supercharged state Godzilla was doing better, but it still seemed like toss-up". Supercharged Evovled Godzilla could still lose the fight. Amped Ghidorah shouldn't even match Evovled Godzilla, he matched probably Pre-evolved Supercharged Godzilla in France, as he absorbed the radiation of a nuclear power plant, much like Ghidorah the electrical grid in Boston.
You have to remember Shimo was holding back this whole time during the fight.
