I have been going to Flamingo since early 70’s and staying in the cabins and lodge. After Andrew wiped out both it is great to see the new lodge. Great job highlighting the new lodge designed by my friend’s son Gavin McKenzie. He hit a home-run. 😊.
I can definitely say that I prefer the Great Exumas….I grew up around Caribbean islands with blue clear water. Something on dark brown murky water that I don’t enjoy at all. But thank you for another great video trying something different!! Your last video at Exumas was ultra epic!!
Awesome episode and footage of this area! People think nurse sharks are teddy bears. There are instances of them locking onto people and not letting go though. Even after getting out of the water with people trying to pry them off! People should always respect them and keep their distance imo 👍🏻
Stephanie line about you waking up next to her takes the cake for this video had me rofl But l really like the part of relaxing near the quiet ocean makes ya want to melt taking in the sights and smell of the ocean ah what a feeling!
I looked into the Everglades Boating Course. I'm not required to have it for my 22ft sailboat without a motor but definitely will do it for the information.
Great video as always you guys!!! Is the Penn Slammer you’re using to try for the Cobia and Jacks the 6500 or 7500? And do you have it paired with your avail gear medium weight spinning rod? Happy Thanksgiving you two!🦃🎣
My biggest jewfish I caught was in big Marco pass n with the formula to estimate the weight it was 738lbs. Was 7ft 6in long n 6ft 9in in diameter I have pics of him was probably my biggest fish I'll ever catch
This is the Everglades National Park, and the part they are visiting is called Flamingo and is way south of Pine Island, aprx 40 miles south of Chokoloskee. Quite a remote part of the Everglades. There is one single road that goes into the park from Florida City which is 40+ miles through wilderness.

Great video, as much as I like high energy marinas like sailfish in palm beach but sure is nice to have a laid back marina to do some relaxing.

Clay, I have asked you this question before, and you did answer me, but I can't remember. What drone do you use to film your videos? Thanks.

Another great video, do you pay the fees on line before you go, or can you pay when you arrive?
Random ?: how skinny do you go comfortably with the Pathfinder? I’m talking slow speeds to get up to mangroves and such
No mention of all the crocs you can see at Flamingo?
Basically new place opened up not that long ago
