This particular song, means a lot to me. Tame impala changed my life forever, i can´t express myself through comments but i feel so many feelings at the same time when listening to this song, thanks kevin one more time to make me feel alive!
This was the first Tame Impala song that I really connected with lyrically. (normally I dont realy care about lyrics tbh) What Kevin was singing about was EXACTLY how I felt in high school. Purposefully isolating myself from the world, then feeling that loneliness sloooooowly creep in. No one to blame but myself.

Finally he performs something that’s not from TSR or Currents! That was cool. I always tried to avoid listening to this cause I don’t need to be reminded that no one talks to me or atleast it feels like no one ever talks to me. It’s too emotional.
I feel like he's talking about how this mindset just leads to more loneliness and it's all in your head. Because the end has him obviously in denial and he says "I thought I was happy", he's causing his own loneliness
I don’t mind getting emotional, it’s nice to feel different things. Kevin’s music takes me to a place where I feel the pain of being alone, but I know that he feels that, and so many people that connect with his music also feel the way I do, and then I don’t feel so alone anymore.

This version is the most epic video in tame impala career (for me), mixes the feelings of "lonerism" , the magical individual creativity of Kevin, the most fresh Sounds (the kind of slow rush) and his bareefoots. I really love this man and his music!

@@fechelokurahur oh no worries man, I understand what you mean. TSR definitely has the cleanest, modern sound, but I hope you know where I was coming from with describing the sound of his older stuff
This song on its own has gotten me through so much in my life. This was so touching to me and I really hope Kevin can put this on the set list someday. God he just gets better 🥺
You can tell Kevin is someone that really likes his beats. Love seeing him on drums - he seems really into it, like he's genuinely and confident about the rhythm and beats he's creating. Love seeing that in an artist's work - it's inspiring
I actually adore this song, I feel that every song resonates with a person through certain circumstances within their life. Who they're around ,what they've experienced, what they're experiencing. The songs meaning for me might fade in a month or two but that's the beauty of it. It would fade due to the constant changing lifestyle of us. But this song sits with me on an emotional level that I don't think I'll forget.
YES YES YES! I missed the good ol’ psych rock Parker. Reconsider returning to this sound. There is no music that captures the feeling of post party walk in drizzly rain at dawn as much as your Lonerism/Innerspeaker phase
tame impala is my favorite artist of all time. kevin is a musical wizard. i’m so blessed to be living in the same time as these beautiful songs. my son will for sure know who tame is! ❤️
as a former drummer ill always appreciate kevins attention to detail in not just every part of his songs but the drums. he mentions in a video about how he cares a lot about the drums. they are so fun to play along with.
Kevin can play all the instruments at the same time with his psychic psychad3lic abilities, but chooses to perform as a band with his friends so they can have mad adventures together across the world. #goodblokekevin #m8s

This one in particular really spoke to me and I absolutely adore it. I listen to it every day on my commute to work and I honestly feel like it helps me start every day with a fresh mindset. Thank you for all the inspiration and good vibes, Kevin!
With no disrespect to KP, it's funny how the version I play in my head (even when I haven't heard the song in possibly a year or two, etc) sounds better than even the best produced version published by TI. I hum the various parts, or otherwise sing the lyrics, to various songs from time to time. I'm not always great with recalling or parsing lyrics either, but even there, the versions I make are far better, not just for myself, but everyone. (Eg, I thought it was "bury your thoughts and fall asleep" in the hymn-like song Goodbye by Apparat)
I'd kill for a Let It Happen version of this that included him mixing in real time for the trippy drum breakdown section as well as editing the video for him to glitch out while playing the drum parts Goddamn that'd be sick.... Still this is one of my favorite songs of all time and thankful for this
Probably Cringe, but I can't express how much Kevin's music did for me going through a really rough patch in my life. New city, new school, I was 13 and I had been going through some really rough internal struggles and shit with my family. The songs off this album really helped me feel like I wasn't alone and that people out there understood that feeling of loneliness and that melancholic feeling some people carry when they're finding themselves. I can hear this song and feel happy and sad all at once. And that goes for so much of Tame Impala's music. I want to cry and Dance, all at the same time. In short, thank you Kevin for making the music you have. Never stop. You're a genius and you have made music that transcends.
Not a cringe! I have the same with his music! 🥰 I grew up with them in my 20’ - his lyrics were so relatable and I am glad that I could grow up with his music, becuase every new album was reflecting my personal growth. Thanks Kevin!
Bruh I've been telling people that Kevin makes all of his songs and in the studio, it's him playing not a band. They always deny it. I'm glad this video exists to prove to them that Kevin is a multi-instrumentist.
All of these "live performances" are getting better and better! I get so excited when I see Kevin play! Drummer Kevin is my favorite. Which Kevin is your favorite?

God dammit. Just when you think one of your favourite songs couldn't get any better. Kevin Parker is one of the best contemporary musicians in the world.

This was the first Tame Impala song that I really connected with lyrically. (normally I dont realy care about lyrics tbh)
What Kevin was singing about was EXACTLY how I felt in high school. Purposefully isolating myself from the world, then feeling that loneliness sloooooowly creep in. No one to blame but myself.

What a lovely song reminds me of my friend I just lost so means a lot to me yea boy
Finally he performs something that’s not from TSR or Currents! That was cool. I always tried to avoid listening to this cause I don’t need to be reminded that no one talks to me or atleast it feels like no one ever talks to me. It’s too emotional.
I just got introduced to tame, I feel your post. Hey I’m talking to you. Later

What you mean, “the kind of slow rush” honestly TSR doesn’t have the complexity and melting pot of sounds like Innerspeaker and Lonerism had
@@SugarW1thC0ffee i refer to the clean and modern sounds of TSR. I am not talkin about wich album its more o less complex. Anyway, its purely subjetive... My opinion its not the absolute truth. (Sorry if i have grammatical errors, english its not my native language) kisses for everyone!

You can tell Kevin is someone that really likes his beats. Love seeing him on drums - he seems really into it, like he's genuinely and confident about the rhythm and beats he's creating. Love seeing that in an artist's work - it's inspiring

I can’t put in words how much this song means for me, it brought me a lot of comfort when I needed the most
I actually adore this song, I feel that every song resonates with a person through certain circumstances within their life. Who they're around ,what they've experienced, what they're experiencing. The songs meaning for me might fade in a month or two but that's the beauty of it. It would fade due to the constant changing lifestyle of us. But this song sits with me on an emotional level that I don't think I'll forget.
