I contacted them about the hide and seek feature and was told it's coming in an update by Christmas. I agree they shouldn't have advertised it if it wasn't ready but if they have it ready by then it's forgivable at least.
I can get a Miko 3 for myself you probably don't know how to use it I'll show you how that's because those kids are playing hide and seek let's ask miko play hide and seek then he will move or say play Dance master or say Miko Let's Dance
It's basically a tablet on wheels that ironically doesn't really move that much. Apprently the hide and seek feature isn't available as yet. I bought it for this feature. Complete BS
Thanks for the review! If Miko 3 advertisement was honest I would of given it 4 stars on Amazon. My son is really into robots and he loves his Miko 3. Its a great Leapfrog alternative. I noticed it now dances when you ask Miko to dance, before Miko would say I cant do that right now. Still many many many more improvements this company needs to make. Its going to get roasted on Amazon if it cant play hide and go seek or follow you like in their commercials.
Truth for us adults, but as long as the child never saw the ad of what "it could possibly" do, they can still be fascinated by it. My daughter still has to learn to say, hello Miko, and not hi Miko. Lol

It was rushed out and their ads made a lot of parents mad, but half of that really is user's fault and not knowing how to operate this toy. I helped you out by adding another new subscriber and watched/liked your Miko reviews. Have a happy new year!
This is a very accurate review. The commercial makes it look like its interacting with the kids. Its just like Alexa or Google. It answers any informational question and has games and learning apps. Also you can only have 1 child profile, but it is new so maybe some updates will come to make it better. My kids are enjoying it so far though.

Its so bad from miko manufacturers to make such misguiding ads. They should be sued for that. Definitely this robot could have been better with better voice command ,less useless features,bit better graphics and more voice interaction rather touch. If one has to touch it often then its a tab on wheels,it should have more voice controls.

We need to have robots like Bicentennial Man, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, or Ex Machina; but that science is not here yet or priced for an average consumer to afford. It still only exist in science fiction movies. This is merely a toy still.

Yeah, the haters don't realize that this product was pushed out early for Christmas. Like with all technology devices, they only get better with time and newer revisions. Just look at our cellphones for example. Lol
I sort of rushed to get this for my daughter as it said there was a sale on, this was a while ago and the apparent sale is still on lol, before i could research it fully, obviously a good selling tactic. I did set it up and it was hard for it to understand what i was saying etc. I just hope they get it updated, if not for Christmas but for future updates. I did suggest this would be an awesome product if they partnered up with you tube kids, "hey miko play some peppa pig! Someone agreed with me and miko company deleted my comment on fb.
If your expectation is high for a robot that does everything or you expect what you see in advertisement and money cost is a concern, then skip. If you like like a simple gadget you kid can play with then consider a buy. I see people spend as much for a learning tablet that does the same.

They upgraded his software so now he does what is called "seek and play." There's a demo of it in my 2nd video uodate of Miko.
