I tried the heater a couple years ago & the temp kept going up. I unplugged it after it hit 86F degrees and returned it. I tried two others which also would not keep a stable temperature. Seeing as I can't trust these mini heaters, I will not use them. Too worrisome. <•))))~{

What happens with the flat heater keep warmer up or no it works as meant to be it burn out it exploded inside the tank it melt the outlet what happens after ?

Hi. I bought the same one last week for my 1.5 gallon tank at Petco for $7. So far the heater is working good keeping the water at 75*f. I have 3 guppies and they are happy.

These heaters are good for certain situations especially in a 1 gallon. I still go with a 25 watt though and have these as emergencies.

Vinny just bought the marina Betta after watching your video and listening to red recommendation and it heated my 1 gal passed 84 degrees and my home is set to 68 degrees. Am I doing something wrong? I thought I didn’t have to stay on top of this heater. I’m measuring my temp with a digital thermometer and I’m afraid to leave it on overnight because I don’t want to wake up to my Betta, squirt cooked.
