First, saniderm IS amazing! Secondly, yes it does peel and itch, that’s part of the healing. However, it gives me a protective barrier to “pat” it when it itches. I knew it was ready to take off when most of the saniderm loosened bc of the peeling
I got a new tattoo on my forearm, my Artist put on a Saniderm bandage, and gave me one to take home. I removed the first one after around 2 hours, cleaned the tattoo, pat it dry, and put on the second Saniderm. It's going on the 3rd day and its on, and that tat looks great underneath. I have one or two areas with a bit of seep, and some of the outline looks weird, but that's part of the seep, and as tempted as I am to take it off, I will trust the process. It is so nice not to have ointment all over EVERYTHING, because you know its getting all over everything. A new modern take on an old thing.
I'm currently useing a knock-off second skin product for the first time, and I'm SOLD! The only minor objection I have is that it's not as flexible as I would have liked. I got a 17cm X 14cm full color peony tattoo on my upper arm, wich goes a little into the softer/fattier part of my inner arm. The inner part feels a bit tight when I move my arm around. The outer part is completely fine, because the skin there doesn't stretch as much. Aside from that, I highly recommend it for tattoo healing so far. Because, if applied properly, it saves you a lot of time and worry compared to 'traditional' healing methods.
I have used it for a dozen tattoos, always works good. I only leave it on for 72 hours, then soak it in the shower to get it off, comes off easy. Minimal scabbing and less chance of infection in the critical time immediately following the work.
Sorry, my english is very bad. Since my tattoo is a little big, the artist put 2 saniderms on top of each other. is it suitable? It's been 2 days and some black parts of my tattoo are showing green under my saniderm is this normal?
my complaint with saniderm is that your comfort level is entirely reliant on how well your artist places it. I've used it twice, once on my arm and once on my neck. The one on my arm was placed terribly and I took it off less than two hours later because it was pulling on my skin and it hurt. The one on my neck, I was able to wear it for the full recommended period and I was completely fine. Idk, it's a good product, it's just irritating that human error is making it only work so much of the time
Saniderm locks in your body's plasma and healing elements, creating the perfect environment for healing your tattoo. It also protects your tattoo from the elements - so the sooner you can put Saniderm on, the better. But it is ok if you are not able to put it on right away
Zoey McShane my tattoo artist used it straight after my tattoo was complete, no cling film wrap at all. But I know some people do use it after a cling film wrap is removed and cleaned, personally I'd check with your artists as they will know what's best for your tattoos healing process.
Saniderm is cool when you can apply it properly. It's certainly not easy to apply on some areas though. i'll try it again in a few months. i'm on day 2 of tattoo healing, had it on 16 hours or so, took it off to wash, and when I put it back on, it just didn't attach properly and now it's scabbing and I;m afraid to put another one on tonight
I just got a new tatto on my neck/ between shoulders and Im using the saniderm patch this time. I had no issues with my other tattoo on my forearm without the wrap. Peeling was natural I was told and didn't worry about it.
Saniderm, please let me know if once the tattoo is completely finished whether or not to clean the tattoo prior to applying the saniderm? Do I simply have the tattoo artist apply this once he stops using the tattoo gun?
Always clean and dry the tattoo before applying Saniderm. It actually says so on the box. Any smart artist will clean and dab dry before applying anything without prompting.
Left a rash on me for weeks after removing it and removing it was extremely uncomfortable. Healing time was still relatively the same as my traditional method. This is all hype.
I'm really failing to see a major difference? the Saniderm healing process doesn't look that much different from the traditional healing process... so I guess it'd depend on your preferences.
The biggest part is no friction for my work uniform. I always dreaded going back to work. This product I can get a tattoo mid week and still work without heartache
You leave on saniderm for several days so you can bathe and do other things and your tattoo isn't exposed. I just got two upper thigh tattoos and saniderm allowed me to go about my day without worrying about friction or them getting bacteria in them.
It would be interesting to see a short follow up video to this, and see if there is a long term difference.
This stuff is the greatest product ever..cuts healing time in half and superior protection for fresh tats.

Saniderm is the best. 🙌🏼
I just got a tattoo and am using Saniderm, kinda tripped out over the little ink sacs. But it makes it so much easier to pat if I have an itch.
Already knew this one. Saniderm is by far the best. Coupled with a little scentless lotion afterwards, no scabs at all.
looks awesome .my tattoo artist is fixing a bad tatoo I got he told me to leave it on for 5 days .
i got told for mine 3-5 days but i'll wait 5 days

R.L I think I might try it this way. The last time I left it on for 5 days and I don't think it worked well on my tattoo

Saniderm is the way to go, way easier IMO

Order on Amazon and apply yourself homie.

Do you use saniderm immediately after getting the new tattoo or once you take off whatever the artist normally uses for wrapping?

Saniderm Medical
Is it ok to take the sandiderm off after 3 days?
@@saniderm how many time its the best reccomendation? And do I have to take away every day?
Pretty sure day 6 saniderm showed quite a bit of peeling 🤔
It might have been excess adhesive from the saniderm coming off.
Twil I find that my tattoos still peel very slightly after removing Saniderm that has been on for 5 days
BenPBL it would peel still but not as much ..
That’s a good thing bruh,not bad

So far it’s 50/50 for me on my clients.

What’s the price
for the Saniderm? it's cheap you can even get it at some CVS stores
@@AhYesIndeedItsFunTime CVS and Walgreens stock Tegaderm. I’ve never seen a drug store sell Saniderm, but I’m sure it’s possible.
I like Saniderm, but I am allergic. Had a huge allergic reaction after my last tattoo..... Unfortunately.
greygry do you know what was in it that you were allergic to?
Dang, I'm trying to marry the first guy that speaks in the beginning of the video! 😍 My Instagram is @propercopper
Did he ever hit you up?
Thats a sick looking vato
They all ugly.. I don’t get it
The application is a pain in the ass.

Brave Knight I have a permanent scar from the edge of where the saniderm was on a tattoo from 2 years ago.
Did you happen to remove it dry or in the shower? If you removed it slowly in the shower you should be good to go.
I'm really failing to see a major difference? the Saniderm healing process doesn't look that much different from the traditional healing process... so I guess it'd depend on your preferences.
Theres a lot less itching, no ink or whatever seeps out of your tattoo getting on your clothes and theres less peeling.
