I used it on all my tattoos. Got it down to a process (works for me, may not work for everyone):
    1) Go home with the regular plastic they use in shops. Sleep with it on.
    2) Next day, wash your tattoo with anti-bacterial soap (I use Dial Gold) and cold water (room-temperature is fine too).
    3) Dry it off with a paper towel, do it with gentle pats to remove the water and do NOT rub the paper towel against your tattoo, just gentle pats until dry.
    4) Wait a couple hours to let the wound breathe, you can apply Bactine MAX for pain/burn sensation. Don't let the light hit your tattoo. Once you're ready to go to bed.
    5) Wash again with antibacterial soap and dry off using paper towel.
    6) Apply Saniderm.
    7) You can cut litle squares for bigger tattoos so you can cover the whole design, it's better this way than using a long strip as that would wrap in weird angles (if the tattoo is on your elbow for example).
    8) Keep the Saniderm on for 3-5 Days.
    9) Remove in the shower, don't use HOT water as it'll open up your pores and your skin is super sensitive still. I have done this on two full-sleeves and they healed super nice, no peeling even, ink remained there.

Saniderm’s great but I typically remove it after 2 days and see redness (like a light rash) that follows the borders of the Saniderm patch. The redness also overlaps some of the tattooed area. Likely a mild reaction to the adhesive. Takes between 2 to 3 weeks for the redness to completely disappear. The benefits of using Sanidern, however, outweigh this minor
hiccup. BTW, my daily aftercare and maintenance is Hustle Butter.

I was wandering if you could answer something for me. I will be using this product for the first time in a couple weeks and I was told that after you remove the first application that after you clean it and let it air dry put some aquaphor, hustle butter, or some type of lotion or balm on the new tat before you put the new one on. Our application DID NOT work as intended.
Due to creased edges, plasma leaked out within hours of application.
They were applied as indicated, but due to natural crease in area of skin on our body, it got folded.
I'm going back for shading in a month or so, last one was just a out lines and artist didn't apply it. 1st one was on my chest plate and it leaked.
Can this be applied with paper AND backing clear sheet to "stretch" the bandage, so that there's less chance of creasing?
I understand it will stretch the skin when it's stretched while applying, but I don't see any other way to eliminate the creasing and plasma leak.

Our recommended instructions are to apply at the finish of the tattoo and leave on for 24 hours. This will fill up with plasma. At the 24 hour mark, remove and wash the tattoo. Once dry, apply a second piece that will stay on for up to 6 days for a total healing time of 7 days.If the tattoo weeps into the second piece of film, follow the above instructions at the next 24 hour period and apply a 3rd piece. The third piece would then stay on for 5 days.
