    Great video. Quick and to the point. Thank you. My one question. What is CTRL + i, i understand what you say it does (hide the effect), but if we were doing that from the menu options, what would it be? I even searched photoshop's list of shortcuts and i could not find it.

    • @rileyw1813
      @rileyw1813 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Scrottobaggns Invert layer. Doesn’t exactly hide the effect, it just makes the mask go from applying to the whole image (all white) to none of it (all black)

    Thanks for the great Tutorial. I'm having trouble on my Mac with hiding the effect Control + I. I am unable to hide the affect without hiding the whole layer, and unable to paint on the layer without it being visible? Any suggestions?

      Don't select Curves option from Image but from the layer palette properties. You'll get a slightly different curves dialogue screen in wich it works with the Cntrl + I

      to make it look even better you could create a layer, use the dropper to select specific colors in the eye, enhance them, apply a Gaussian blue to that layer then use your curves method and voila magic

      Go up to window at the top, click on it and then choose the option adjustments, it will open an adjustment box and the option will be in there 😊

    I'm stuck at painting on the mask. My 2024 version of photoshop just keeps the adjusted layer so my whole image is still bright. Can't get it to just highlight the eyes and not the whole image.
