Though I am still one, were playing against a team with my Sister and two step brothers and I think it will be interesting just trying all game on defence getting in their way.
In the Melbourne or Victoria district the suburbs get to have a Sports Day called Gala Day and I chose Netball. My mixed team won District and Division and now we are going to Regionals!! So Excited!!!
...i got myself in a netball tryout for my school and im starting to regret it....last time i played was 2yrs ago and i played for less than a yr...im dead but i might aswell try to get as much info i can before i embarrass myself...

I am doing my off season netball to get skill up and stuff so I was GK and like the first quarter I had to defend a player my height but like that team were sooo good we looked like idiots when they looked like champions and the 2nd quarter I defended a player 2 times bigger then me and I’m like the tallest girl in my school class so like wth but with this indoor netball BOYS can play and thats SO ANNOYING to me and the last quarter I had to defend a boy who was sooo short he looked like he was in preschool when it’s under 12s WTH
Nice Video. Here is an idea. A Penalty Shot World Cup. Made up of club or international teams. Each team has 5 throwers, and 1 attempt each at a penalty shot for each player. And they see who can win a penalty shoot out style trophy of trying penalty shots in a stadium. Many teams, in the stadium event tournament, and take part first in a group stage where each teams everyone in their group. Then there knockout stage then a 3rd fourth place play off, then a final. There could be music before each shot, and national anthems played. An advantage is more events, and less chance of players getting tired simply from taking penalty shots. It could be like a sevens rugby union event, with good family atmosphere. Many teams could be invited. There could be regional and national club events too. Diolch.
I have been playing GD for at least 4 years I used to be really good but now suddenly I’ve lost my touch and I’m always either too late to grab the ball and intercept it or I forget about the player I’m marking
Emma L Hadleigh see, being short is easy. i am a short goal shooter. and its easy because im paired with a taller goal keeper. if she is blocking me, i just run from under her outstretched hands
i had to play netball today and i didn't know anything about it even though we had a few lessons in p.e and i had to sit out and cut my nails because they were to long 😂
This was really helpful, I have a tournament in a couple weeks and hopefully this will improve how I play as I'm in goal defence, thanks❤

I'm the tallest in my Netball group and I always get put with tiny people, I find them harder to mark and they are better at getting into space...
