Thanks for the kind words of support and encouragement. We have a ton of fun making these videos, and ultimately we sell more catamarans becuase of the them ;)
As always, Wiley gives the most comprehensive and solid overview of the boat. Though this one’s just a little bit out of my range, I sure loved the walk-through, the features and functionality of it.
I’ll be buying a sailing cat this winter. I keep coming back to this one, albeit I’m so sceptic to get into a Lagoon. This cat checks all boxes, but I feel I’m better off in a Seawind 1600 or Xquisite X5. Lagoon build quality is unsettling.

Before you even think about a Lagoon watch Parlay Revival. Colin and Jamie had to do an extensive bulkhead repair to cracked and broken bulkheads. The bulkheads failure was a result of improperly engineered and tabbed in bulkheads. It was a long, labor intensive repair. There are plenty of YT videos and owners sites which deepdive into the core details, fixes, fingerpointing, etc... More recently, Parlay, under 12 knots of wind, had their bow come up with the tack line of the spinnaker and ripped the deck completely away from the hull, leaving a gaping hole. The deck was only glued to the hull. It wasn't fiberglassed and tabbed in. Watch for yourself. It's the last posted video, 3 days ago. IMHO, there are better built and designed cats. Lagoon wouldn't even make the list. Buyer beware.
@Lexajones I hope I didn't keep you waiting. I was cooking dinner. HH, Gunboat, O Yachts, Outremere, Odisea, Balance. Kinitetic, Privilege, Nautitec, Catana off the top of my head. There are more that have superior build quality to Lagoon.
I think the big difference between Lagoon and the brands listed is social media. I can give you examples of 7 of those brands that have had major issues out the gate from the builder. The difference between Lagoon and the other brands listed was the fact someone documenting the issues and monetizing the content.
Lagoon should start acknowledging their faulty build of lots of their catamarans and be helping / compensating current owners. As long as this is a standing issue i will never consider buying a lagoon.
Wiley that is a beautiful vessel. By the way, I saw that Verizon is using your tag line, “ panos “ in their commercials recently in Florida. I’m thinking legal action needs to be taken against them. 😂
Catamarans don’t heel or rock like a monohull. If you look at all of our other videos you’ll see very few catamarans have gimbals. In my offshore experience in catamarans I’ve never needed a gimbal.
Great video and very well presented. I have always appreciated your videos even for a few years before I purchased and now five years later. Keep ‘em coming.
I know for a fact that production Lagoon's are lip stick pig construction. Show me a Lagoon and I will show you 50 k in immediate repairs on a brand new boat. You have better luck in a trailer home in the middle of tornado alley.
Your content is bar none the best. One more year and we are ready to go. Will be reaching out to you. Terrific video

I absolutely love the layout of this boat!
That was the best walk thru of a boat I’ve seen. Well done!
Thanks for the kind words. We had a ton of fun making this one.
Still setting the standard Wylie my friend! Regards from NS Canada.
Thanks for the kind words. We love what we do, and I think that translates well onto camera ;)

We pray you're having a good day, Mr. Sharp
Thanks for praying for me.
Brother this is a dream I wish something beautiful comes true
It would be a dream to own something like this.

Excellent presentation 5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thank you so much 😀. We had a ton of fun making this one.

Name a manufacturer that hadn't had a major defect. I'll wait.

Love this channel! Happy Easter brother!
Happy Easter Jamie! I hope you're enjoying it with family and friends!
Love this boat. I want one.
We can make that happen ;)

A very beautiful boat
What a beast!
After crossing the Atlantic on a Lagoon 45 and a 50 Im put off Lagoons for life, very pretty layout though.
They layout on the 560 is pretty spectacular.
What was the problem
@@greatnorthern3481the problem was he didn’t own it at the end of either voyage …
Ha haha
Why?
Wiley that is a beautiful vessel. By the way, I saw that Verizon is using your tag line, “ panos “ in their commercials recently in Florida. I’m thinking legal action needs to be taken against them. 😂
Better get the legal pit bulls on them! Thanks for watching.
Nice tour
Beautiful
How many hrs on the engines and generator?
What size is the generator?
Original rigging?
8:41 it appears cooktop/ stove is not gimballed. Wouldn't it be hard to hold while the boat rocks?
Catamarans don’t heel or rock like a monohull. If you look at all of our other videos you’ll see very few catamarans have gimbals.
In my offshore experience in catamarans I’ve never needed a gimbal.
Why are there two shore power outlets? Redundancy or increased throughput?
I'm just starting to learn about boating. Do all catamarans need to have sails? I think I've seen some without sails.
Very good video and I really enjoyed it!How to design or build a new vessel about this kind of situation?
It starts with a naval designer and then finds a shipyard to execute the design. Not the easiest thing to do unless you have a ton of cash.
Love the video!
Beautiful boat , would like to know how often do you sail and how far.
Groovy video
Thanks for taking the time to watch!
I saw this boat for sale on the Yachtworld website
She is in fact listed for sale on Yachtworld. Are you looking for a Lagoon 560 or something similar?
@@catamarancentral Im looking for a boat this size. Maybe also an 500 or 620. Do you have some boats in this range listed? Let me know ;)
Great video and very well presented. I have always appreciated your videos even for a few years before I purchased and now five years later. Keep ‘em coming.
What year is it. It’s not in the listing either
2016. Sorry for the confusion. Will make sure it is in the landing page.
Was that rust building on the valve covers of those engines? Not good maintenance!
you were made for this
Thanks for the support. This was a great one.
How much is one of these boats?
The boat is asking $1,090,000
@@catamarancentral For that 😂
Originally from PA?
How mach ?
Cost?
She is asking $1,099,000
Beautiful. I can't afford it.
You and me both!
a hard top on the FB would be welcome , thx for the video
I have seen a few Lagoon 560's with aftermarket hardtops. Would be a very nice additon.
😮😮
Thanks for watching Barry!
And the bulkheads
Not an issue on the 560.
I want a 55+ but it isn’t going to be a lagoon. Very pretty looking white boat….
Is this a new one? Compared to HH, this looks very dated!
I know for a fact that production Lagoon's are lip stick pig construction. Show me a Lagoon and I will show you 50 k in immediate repairs on a brand new boat. You have better luck in a trailer home in the middle of tornado alley.
For example what needs repair from the beginning I'm just asking not doubting you.
Provide fact over stating you have fact
Considering it’s a $1M+ boat, isn’t that the equivalent of a $500 repair on a $10,000 boat?
Wait .. Its not pronounced "a cubed" ?!?
I guess I got it wrong ;)
He mispronounced a ton of stuff oddly enough. Probably reading from a script

Lovely bowd... sorry, boat...
