  • When working with series RLC circuits we have to calculate the net reactance. X net=XL - XC. This is imperative when trying to calculate the circuits impedance.

    Excellent basic explanation to power factor. Wave forms at different points on the circuit would be nice

    a coil having a resistance of 8 ohm an inductance of 0.2 henery is connected in series with 50 micro farad capacitor .at what frequency does resonance occur.if applied voltage is 100 volts.find at this frequency. (a) current (b) p.d across coil (c) p.d across the capacitor
