This is a great common sense tool load out. I’ve been an electrician for over 20 years, and I carry nearly the same combination of Klein and Knipex. Most of them get changed out every year or two when they start to lose efficiency. Many people say don’t trust a guy with new tools; I say don’t trust a guy using beat up tools that are past usefulness. Thanks for the good down to earth demonstration. Keep up the good work.
Have you tried the klein 2000 series? dude I worked with has a pair thats probably close to 10 years old and they're still good. Cut through a nail almost as easy as a wire.
Very essential tool load out . I like that your tools have seen some use unlike some other tool channels . If I could recommend anything is malitas XPs bits ( fit better and last longer ) . But great choices overall
After using Knipex Tools, I can't use anything else...I love Klein, Channelock, Milwaukee, Crescent, Greenlee, Ideal, Etc but I spend the money on the Knipex when I am using something everyday like Linesmans, Pump Pliers (Knipex Cobras have the best grip ever), Wrench pliers (Have replaced all my adj crescent wrenches), Dikes, Etc - I just wish Knipex made Screw drivers and other drivers....
If you can still read the serial # on the side of your impact Milwaukee will either fix it or replace it for free. It has a 5 year warranty, I just found a local place that does warranty work for Milwaukee and got mine replaced for free
Why electricians in the USA use screwdrivers without insulation? A lot of them use these yellow Klein Tools (I know there are good) ones that do not have insulation. In Europe, most of the electricians use screwdrivers with insulation as they are Wiha, Wera, Knipex...?
Most of the time in residential we don’t need a flat head with insulation on it. But when I’m working on the light panel I do use insulated tools. Thanks for the question.
If you speak English, "nih-pex" is the proper way to say knipex. In German, you pronounce the "k" , but they also pronounce the word "knife" with a "k" sound. It's douchey to add the k sound of you speak English. It be like going to McDonald's and when ordering a croissantwich, pronouncing it "kwo-san", like the French would do. Words with a "j" in German have a "y" sound, yet we don't say jello like "yellow" , like a German would.
check out buckaroo tool belts, i've had one for 6 months its the most comfortable tool belt ive ever had. pretty sure the essential craftsman did a review on it a while back check it out. Only catch is you'll have to order it from australia XD
You should try the Milwaukee 6 in 1 stripers hands down the best I'd used and I use to use the same idea ones. Boulder ultimate Electrician bags with Gator belt best that I have seen Available

I have those same lineman’s. There is a fish tape puller on that particular set it’s on the opposite side of the crimper

We are finally starting to see a lot of number 2 square in our panels and breakers so that’s a good.
We see a lot of ECX on fittings and receptacles kind of a cross breed of a slotted and robertson
