At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palaceâĶ On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

For anyone that is confused by the ending: The woman, her real name being HÞmeyra, assumed the identity of Firuze in order to infiltrate the harem. Because what she said and what Ibrahim confirmed in her backstory, SÞleyman assumed that she was being truthful. However, the ending confirms that she had in fact been a spy and her entire identity had been made up. She had taken the name from the real Firuze, that's why the man says that "Firuze has been curious about you". Unfortunately, it is not explored who HÞmeyra truly is.
Omg i never saw that last scene! She was really a traitorðððð
I have to admit, I never really understood the reasoning behind Suleiman's decision in this episode. Since he thinks Firuze is innocent, why does he choose to send her away? Why not just keep her in the harem, like he did with Princess Isabella?
Because she hasnât loyal to him.she lied to him
because u cant keep a muslim woman is harem. isabella was not a muslim woman. but firoze(humeyra hatun) was a muslim woman. you have to marry a muslim woman otherwise its haram in islam
Muslim women can't be part of the harem. To stay with Firuze and keep following the Quran, he would have to marry her, because she is Muslim. Suleiman liked, but not enough to marry her, like he married Hurrem.
@@PatriciaXara but Hurren converted to islam early on, so why she could stay in the harem as a muslim and Firuze couldn't?
â@@myh-devils_advocatethey didn't consider converts the way they did Muslim born women.
Firuze finally got what she deserved!!
Firuze at the end when she returned back was she alive?
@yes, she was sent by Safavids Persia
She had everybody fooled even the sultan especially him he fell for her she played everybody like a fiddle
Sultan such a sucker but once again Hurrem is punished for doing her job as a Queen and wife come on!!!!
