Welcome to another Relaxing Pokemon Music Compilation. Today we have Pokemon X and Y which brought us the likes of mega evolutions and more. The soundtrack for this game is in my personal opinion severely underappreciated despite being fantastic. The creators did amazing with this game music wise. All these compilations have left me nostalgic lately, so I hope I am able to ignite that same nostalgia for you today.

Coming here after Legends Z was announced. I’m still so blown away by how good the OST was for this game
I've been on this video for quite a bit lately. I really wish I had begged my parents harder so I could have gotten a 3DS and finding out what Pokemon was by getting X.. it makes me pretty sad how many are so fond of X and Y. I really feel left out.. though, I'm pretty excited to see kalos again, as X and Y are my favorite as I had played it recently for the first time via citra.
where have the good times gone? this brings me back to the christmas where i woke up early and unwrapped my 3ds and pokemon x. Where has the timelessness of life gone?

It was 2013. You wake up to a new 3DS, and a new Pokémon game. I played mine all Christmas morning. Viola is the only gym leader I can remember ever losing to (Tbf I was 10). I didn’t understand infestation I guess.
I got stuck at Camphier Town, the one with the Snorlax road and the mansion. I found my first shiny on Route 7, a gulpin horde. When I left my team was level 60s. I steamrolled the rest of the game.
What a weird first adventure, an adventure I had long awaited.
How has it really been ten years already?

Been listening to this for a while, hoping it gets a remake, guess how surprising it was to find out that it was getting a Lengends spin to it. I just kinda hope they remake the games. I never really played pokemon XY back then, so reading that so many people's first pokemon game was X and Y really made me feel left out when I was a child. I really wish I had gotten my parents to give me a 3DS and Pokemon X...

oh my god this hit me so hard in the feels!! it’s almost my 9 year anniversary of getting this game and it means more to me than words can say, it’s remained to be my comfort game since the christmas of 2013; truly an underrated game in the franchise!
Xy is also one of my comfort games, i like to replay it at least once a year because i love it so much :)

I love watching the anime of pokemon xy and Serena is my favorite pokemon character
Pokemon X was my first pokemon game and this made me want to play it again, unfortunetly my ds has some problems and I'm unable to :(, but this broght me back some good memories of traveling through kalos for the first time
I've been playing Pokemon since gen 1 and I have to say that Anistar City is easily a top 3 town theme in the entire series. X/Y in general definitely has the most underrated ost of the main series.
Pokémon x was my first Pokémon game ! I’ve never really been into the franchise until 2014 and when I got my braces one my mom bought me the 3ds with the game 🥲 I remember being in a lot of pain the first week but fortunately I had a new game to soothe my suffering lol 😊 now I feel so old I can’t believe I’m already twenty 😭
I am crying too. In a few weeks I will be 18. I love Pokemon XY and Anime most. You should rewatch pokemon XY anime which is what I just did (It was even better now watching thorough the series a second time). Now time for Japanese DUB Later! What great childhood memories this gives!

Even though i started with gen 4 I have so much nostalgia for gen 6 because it was the first generation I played over 999 hours in and was the first I completed the region dex in
Started with Gen 4 as well and though I can't boast an equal amount of playtime, I do recall replaying X the second most of any Pokémon game, save for Emerald. Still remember a few teams of mine, as well, even the first!
1st team: Delphox, Charizard, Talonflame, Gardevoir, Jolteon and Vaporeon
2nd team: Chespin, Blastoise, Staraptor, Lucario, Gardevoir and Sylveon
3rd team: Braixen, Venusaur, Pangoro, Noivern, Lapras, and Sylveon
4th team: Greninja, Charizard, Lapras, Snorlax, Lucario and Glaceon
@@DakotaofRaptors my first team had also had delphox,charizard,talonflame but from there my team went hawlucha, mega lucario ,and the event mega blaziken, at the time fire was my favorite time now days I’m more a ghost type person but still love the fire type
6:44 and 26:38 the two most forgotten masterpieces in the series. As a sax player, coumarine city will always hit harder for me than it might for some others, and I am ok with that. As for Shalour city, it's just perfect in every way.

pokemon x & y wasn't my first pokemon game but i can definitely say it's the one i look back on the most fondly :'] i miss it, i wish i could play it for the first time again. genuinely the last pokemon game with a fully solid ost, imho.
this game and its music (which i consider to be the overall best in the series) will remain ingrained in me for all time
Even though these games are considered bad because of their easy difficulty I cannot resist loving them because of the sheer amount of nostalgia I feel because Pokémon X was my first Pokémon I played fully consciously with what I was doing
X and y was my first game of pokemon, so this hit me with a lot of nostalgia. Love the playlist I use it while studying ☺, keep it up I love these kinds of playlists! Also you've earned a sub for your amazing work so keep it up I love it :)
Awesome, X and Y was a good game to start with since that's when they went 3D. I'd recommend playing the earlier games as well though. :)

Gen 6 was the peak of Pokémon for me. It was my second to last year of High school when XY came out. My family could finally afford internet and I got to play Pokémon online and get mystery gifts for the first time without going to the library to use the internet there. I had so much fun on wonder trade, shiny hunting and battling with my friends over Skype. The PSS was insanely well designed too
Listen to all of the songs while playing XY is such a beautiful experience
Black was my first game so often I'll listen to something Gen 5 related, but I tend to forget that X was my second game, and has nearly as much nostalgia as Black does tbh.
I was older and understood the concept of Pokémon more at that point so I played this game even more than Black.
Dare I say, this is even *more* nostalgic.
Ik Gen 6 wasn't too popular but as long as they still do the main thing their for i.e making childhoods, it's a W in my book.
Seriously though since coming to the switch the non-battle music doesn't feel as memorable imo

I think the music in xy is what really captures the feel of Kalos. It's such a good mix of ancient and mystical sounds with the excitement and sense of adventure every pokemon game needs. It brings me so many fond memories and such a rush that most osts dont give me. The beginning of snowbelle city always gives me chills. It's just such a perfect soundtrack for the game and region.

Anyway, i was gushing about how good this ost is and i really like how you lined it up for this mix, everything fades into one another really well. Great job!
EDIT AGAIN: I FORGOT TO MENTION HOW MUCH THE FRIENDS SONG REPRISE MAKES ME WANT TO CRY i seriously love it so much. And emotion/unwavering too?? I love bw, so the fact that they reused that one beautiful song at such a key part of the story was just. Perfection.
Remember playing this, having to ask my brother to translate since I was too young to know sufficient english. Thanks, bro, you made my life so much better ♥

The first anime I watched, so this hit me so hard in the chest. 😭😭😭
"Vaniville Town", "Serena/Calem's Theme" (not in the video), Kiseki (Not in the video) "FIN" and "An Unwavering Heart X and Y" somehow make me feel Safe, Sad and Nostalgic even though i never played Y and Y (or in fact any of the other Games) and i've only watched Gameplay of it.
Still these two Games, their Region, their Characters and their Story mean so much to me.
The memories this video brings back, reminds me of good times

I really envy you. When I was younger I had begged my parents to buy me a 3DS when the XL came out. I had no idea what Pokemon was, beside 4U kids reruns my brother would watch. I wish I had begged a bit harder to get it lol. Seeing how many are fond of Pokemon X and Y, it makes me feel very much left out. I just wish I had played the game as a kid, instead of an adult playing the game years later...
I've been playing pokemon since Red and Blue. And this one is my all favorite one. It's so calming and nice ❤️ Beautiful graphics, pleasant atmosphere and finally your very own group of friends. ❤️ And Luminalia City!!!! You could actually get lost in that city!!! It was great

Love it! Finally played Pokémon X last year and I had a blast! The music is beautiful especially Snowbelle City. I love just sitting on a bench with my headphones plugged in my 3DS and just mellowing out to the Christmas feelings it gives. Thank you for your awesome compilations.
Music is what makes or break a Pokémon game, and I think XY passed that vibe check
The first "big jump" for the series that made me so excited. I wasn't working at the time so I didn't have enough money (I had part of it) to get it and my best friend at the time who lived in Italy (very far from me) who was a HUGE Pokemon guy with his brother sent me 10 euros so I could complete the purchase, ended up getting Y. I remember when we were transferring some Pokemon that I wanted from him that we could talk via voice chat through the 3DS system and it was mindblowing to me how I was able to talk to him as if we were on a phone call. Sending Pokemon online while we were miles and miles and miles away and talking like that it was just surreal and such a good memory that I will never forget. The game itself I really liked overall but I had my gripes. First one the EXP share made the game so easy that I remember letting the Elite Four leader kill some of my Pokemons on purpose so it could get "interesting" which was a real letdown.
I play very casually, beat it once or two and then move on. Get my team, see them evolve and that's it but if I'm not challenged in a game it just get boring for me. Anyway thank you for sharing this. I haven't liked the games since Sun and Moon and haven't played the Switch ones either. Scarlet and Violet seem like another small step in the right direction but it feels like they take one small step every few years and are stuck in the past with the formula, not even talking about the performance and the mess with bugs we have seen but the game design. I love seeing the Pokemon actually roaming around and battling in real time so that's a pro at least. One thing I don't like though is how extremely tiny they are and even Pokemon that are supposed to be huge are basically your height which puts me off. We have seen really beautiful games with beautiful 3D models (and their size being more like what you would expect) in not mainline games like Snap or even Stadium, how is that the mainline games struggle so much still, you would think all the efforts would be put into them but alas.
You can turn XP Share off in the gen 6 games fortunately.

Hello! I was searching for relaxing music to listen to and found this. And now I have the urge to play XY again. As Pokemon X and Y was my first game it is naturally the game I tend to go to for nostalgia, whether that's music or just playing the game. This is a good compilation of all the great music in XY. XY are underrated, and you did great with this comp! Last pokemon game I was excited for before release, maybe residual hype from gen5 being gen5... and new hype for 3d pokamanz.... i think XY and ORAS aged way better than SM. Just aint the same walking around with no Dpad option.
I'm also coming here from persona music comps, & some of these tracks are very reminiscent of personas style. I didn't timestamp it but theres one with organ/keyboard and strings that really made me think it was deliberate lol

Gen 5 to 6 was a big jump, and brought us mega evolution which I loved. I've personally last felt the hype for Pokemon ORAS but that's more for nostalgic reasons.

i remember asking for Pokémon Y for Christmas and getting bakugon instead, but got it just a day later
This feels weird to say but I was only like 9 when I played these games and I liked playing them so much I bought X and Y and beat pokemon X like 8 times over the course of a year. But hearing this music I oddly don’t feel much nostalgia at all. With Diamond and Pearl as well as Black and White I do… but not with these games sadly.

I went through my Pokémon games yesterday just to see that I lost my Pokémon x AND y games, and I spent the most time I’ve spent on any game on Pokémon X😭 I also lost Pokémon Diamond but I have platinum still so it’s okay.
