Fair play to the BBC for giving Blindboy the platform to do this. He nails it. I'm living in Blindboy's native Limerick in Ireland, and while we didn't have Thatcher, it's still a very similar picture. Vulture funds, corrupt bigshots, homeless crisis. It makes your blood boil.

Jesus! This show passed me by. Up there with Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe in my book. Smart as fuck. Doesn't even have an IMDB listing tho? Surface level surreal but worth penetrating the weird exterior to get to it's core. A proper weird PSA. Always baffling how stuff like this never gains mainstream traction. Calling it now, this show will grow over time, one of those "Cult following" jobs. Liked Blindboy for a while but I'm genuinely impressed by this contribution. Back to the Blindboy podcast so xx
Blindboy is the man. Definitely up there with the greats like Charlie Brooker and Stewart Lee. It's a shame he's not as well known and those two and the likes.

This series was completely created by Blindboy, I believe.
He works in the film industry now. Making props and stuff. Pretty successful too. I think he did all of the masks and puppets you see in their videos. I'm assuming this is ok to say as it's all a Google search away... Fair play to both of them. I wouldn't imagine that they would get recognised much.

Is the sex for rent really a problem? It's basically paid sex work for rent. Plenty of people do that anyway. If both parties are willing, adults, and aware of the situation I don't, personally, see a massive problem with it.
But, I will say that blindboy came across incredibly empathetic - across the board
It is very different if you 'live' where you 'work', if you're accommodation is tied to providing sex it changes the dynamic. You are less able to draw boundaries and if you do you might lose the roof over your head
Yes it is really a problem that the cost of renting is so ludicrous that getting fucked by some slime ball perv for shelter is fuckin grim.
