Do you have a spec sheet for the auger? GPM, torque, etc? I'd like to use this with a stump planer too would that be possible, or not enough torque? Maybe you could make a mini-planer? 😁
Awesome! Any thoughts to making a front-loader-mounted log-splitter ? Similar to ones I see for skid loaders. Would be nice to have for busting up big logs.
In MN the minimum depth for a frost footing is between 42" and 60" depending on region. For me, I was hoping a tool like this could dig footings for decks and such. You also speak of weight of the unit? Is the issue the combined weight of the unit and the dirt collecting on the helix? I wish there were a "Fork Mount" which mounted the hydraulic drive motor on a 360 degree u-joint swivel to the outer tip of my fork, to give me much more lift height (to give me more digging depth). Is this not possible because the loader could not 'lift' the weight of the combined pallet fork frame, single fork, your auger unit, and the debris? Overall I love that you are doing this. Even if the end product won't work for us up north for frost footings, it looks great for wood post fencing!
this is probably something you already thought of , but when you were talking about the lift height of the loader limiting the auger to 36' or so i started wondering if it might work on the backhoe also and if there would be any gain if it would 😂
This could work on the backhoe, but you need auxiliary hydraulics. I'm working on a backhoe thumb that would solve for the hydraulics, and then you would only need a holder. What I wonder is whether having it on the back would be convenient and you would likely need to curl it "out" rather than in because of space limitations. Definitely something to think about for the future.
I’d like to see it with a SDS bit going into rock for T-posts. You may also be able to use it horizontally going into concrete. Not sure imipramine if it would spin fast enough. Maybe someone who drills concrete could comment. It looks like it would be very useful.
If you were to extend the cradle pin above the frame by 6-8 inches, it would eliminate the need for a short auger. As a bonus, it would move the auger further out so you could see it over the hood.
Agree and I did consider that, but since I'm also trying to keep the weight down for small tractors, making the auger shorter actually helps and I don't think many people really need to dig a hole deeper than 3 to 3.5'. Also, to ensure it doesn't bend, you need to add additional support to the cradle once it goes beyond the backplate of the frame. Completely doable, but will add weight and cost.
I don't offer one, but you can turn it with the HydrosPlus Auger+ and a 1025R with upgraded hydraulics without any issue. 18 is about the largest you want to go with on the 1025R.
Your developments continue to amaze me. This looks fantastic, so much better than the 3 point version.
Now this is the accessory I've been waiting for!
I am looking forward to this. I will have to make sure I am signed up for the newsletter. Nice work Kevin!
Just signed up for your newsletter and looking for seeing this auger!
When are you going to have some available?
I need to sign up for the news letter! I want one of these the second it’s available

Log splitter bit for this auger👍

Could you use the hyd for backhoe too add flow?
Looking good, gotta have reverse with sub compact tractor

@@HydrosPlus i was thinking about maybe swapping the bucket for it but the curl thing might kill that method lol
I would buy this with a wood plane to remove the stump. For me it would be a better fit with the auger than a stump grinder.
"6 inches isn't as much as we thought" LOL
Can this auger rotate both clockwise and counter clockwise?
Yes. Will go both directions.

What 3rd function kit are you using? I have the same tractor
JD OEM 3rd function
Do you have any idea on a release date? I'm building a fenced in garden and a chicken coop this spring.
They are up for pre-order now and I expect to be fully stocked sometime in mid-March

Any plans in the future for hydros plus on LS/New Holland sub compacts?
Yes, but it's going to be a bit before I get to other tractor models. I don't have a timeline yet. Thanks!
@@HydrosPlus if you need a guinea pig, I’d be willing to offer. Thanks for all you do for our little tractors!
Does it require the third function or will it work with standard loader?
You'll need some way to get hydraulic fluid to it, which is tough without a 3rd function, but not impossible.
@@HydrosPlus thank you. Appreciate the follow up.
I need this.
Your going to twist your loader frame .keep it in the middle.
👍👍
You know... I think my wife, the finance committee, hates you. lol
Tell her I'm sorry and if you'll send me an email with your address, I'll send her one of our ladies hats 😁
@@HydrosPlus Thanks for the offer but she doesn't wear hats.
Do you offer a 12 inch diameter bit. ? Would you recommend one for a 1025 r
