Thanks for the tutorial - very helpful - just to point out - it's not ellipsis tool it's ellipse tool. Ellipsis is a punctuation mark - denotes missing words - three dots ... Ellipses is the plural form of ellipsis and ellipse. Sorry to be a pain but I think just for going forward it's handy for you to know. Sending many thanks again - I like the way you speak - it's clear and very understandable - and your demo was nice and clear as well!
Excellent tutorial, you're making great content, btw you can use the shape builder tool to just crop out unnecessary shapes by overlapping, and use send to back instead of create multiple layers. Good job
Nice video! I recommend using the key function command or ctrl+f to copy and paste in place so you don't have to move your shapes after copying. Keep up the great work!

*Protip: Moving objects between layers!* Select the object, then drag the colored box (far right of the layerspanel) from the old layer to the new layer. Or if you really need to copy / paste it, use *cmd + shift + v* (paste in place), after selecting the new layer (that same colored box) phanx for the tut! :)
