    Wow thank you for this video, this exactly what I was looking for. I've seen other channels where they just blend peanuts and let it sit on the shelve for 4 weeks only to extract a tablespoon of oil 😅. I'll definitely try your method.

    Wow..looking at the extraction and time consume to produce that oil reminded me of those farmers. Hardwork with little profit. No wonder in olden days, oil is extremely expensive.

    • @OnyxFoodHill
      @OnyxFoodHill  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think is the type of blender you used. You need a powerful blender of about 1000W to 1200W to get a smooth and a runny consistency.
      If you have a less powerful blender, try adding 2 to 3 teaspoons of peanut oil to blend and that will give you a runny and silky consistency like mine.
      Water will curdle the butter and make it stiff. Hope these helps?

    Thank you for the video! Can you tell me (or does anyone know) if at the squeezing stage you can filter the peanuts through muslin cloth to extract the oil?
    Also just a suggestion as a viewer: you could include the extraction steps in the description. Also it'd be great if you incorporated insight through your narration into the scientific purposes behind each step. For example, what part does the addition of water play in the latter stages and how does it facilitate the extraction?
    Great video though 👌 😊

    • @OnyxFoodHill
      @OnyxFoodHill  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks for your feedback.
      For your first question, using a muslin cloth makes it difficult because the peanut butter would stick to the muslin cloth and as you squeeze it, the oil and some peanut butter would be expelled together, making the oil cloudy and dirty.
      Also, the muslin cloth may tear because you need to squeeze it several times.
      For your second question, we added description before but had to remove it for some issues.
      For the third question, adding the water helps to expel the oil because oil and water cannot mix, so as the water is added, it expels the oil.
